Nah long at RMG also, but only because they pay a proper dividend. I took a punt on CNA guessing that, like most else this government does the energy price cap would be a damp sqib and prompt a (possibly brief) recovery. Seems the markets agree.

Maybe but stirling surged by 1.3% against the US dollar between 2 and 4pm and that depressed the market. Yes it fell back later but only as London trading was was closed.

Nah don't trust this to stick in the present climate, not worth increasing my average price as the dividend income is too low. Better places to put the dosh.

It is all to do with the strength of sterling. The more the pound rallies, the more the market tanks. The exceptions are the UK-facing businesses (FCS even Lloyds is up!) so mainly FTSE 250 Co's. RMG has held up reasonably well given the sea of red that is the rest of my portfolio at the moment. Christ know what the FTSE would end at if they actually agree a Brexit deal and the pound regains all of its post-referendum losses against the dollar.

Trump is complaining about Google now! Apparently if you type TRUMP and NEWS into the search engine the top hits are all negative or unfavourable stories. Shocker DOH! I can think of a few more reach terms to combine with TRUMP that would be guaranteed 100% negative, so whats he got to complain about!

22.6p per share. So well over the 17p it would have had to drop to if it were simply maintained. This is similar to the pattern after the last RI and I would expect quite a sharp uplift at the next payment if that behaviour is replicated.

Sorry to intrude on private grief, but has anyone here actually got any idea when the LLOY SP is going to stop trending towards zero? Should I wait until it hits 30p, 20p 10p before buying perhaps?
