Just a guess but the last jump was $13 quarter 1 to quarter2. Not expecting as big a rise this time but I would hope for another $5 rise in gross margin but don't hold me to it. We will find out when the 3rd quarter financials are published. You will be racing me to work it out.

Northern you make a good point re cash. For what's its worth I think they needed a little short term cash to tidy them over for a couple of months and keep everything on track.

The copper delay will have added to the cash pressure but as I have demonstrated in the previous post Chrome has come to the rescue and is really starting to pile out the cash if my figures are reasonably accurate.

They look to have come through the other side on this now so like you I don't believe it is an issue any more.

Numbers I like. The first 6 months produced a combined gross margin of $5 mill for copper/pgms and it will likely be something similar for second half so around $10 mill gross for the year give or take a bit.

The second half for chrome is where it gets interesting first half $12.5 mill gross on 720k of sales.

From Mikie the second quarter margin per tonne of chrome was $23 (I checked it as well Mikie) not that I didn't believe you but I wanted to see how the margin changed in the 2nd quarter.

1st quarter revenue $90/ton, 2nd quarter $95/ton. Cost dropped from $75 to $73 per ton.

The second have of the year has already achieved 400k tonnes in the 3rd quarter. I expect the 4th quarter will be a little more considering March performance so around 820k tonnes in total for the second half. Even if the margin of $23 remains the same (which I expect it to improve) that is $18.8 million gross and increase of $6.3 mill in 6 months.

I like Chrome.

Thank you Mikie appreciated. We had some good discussions back in the day. I wasn't meaning a placing more a possibility they could take a stake in the company by buying in with RBC onboards. I know brokers have a role to play and some are more proactive than others and what you say about RBC is encouraging.

I am not playing any games what's wrong with Mikie. I clearly stated I don't know much about brokers and you answered me. Thank you for that as for the other insinuations you should retract them.

Never really quite got what value brokers add Mikie so not my field really. From what you are saying does it mean they could bring in institutions to have a shareholding here. I assume they will be telling all their clients all about JLP and their prospects?

I think they are waiting to see numbers on copper now Happydays so we might have a little longer to wait just yet.

Have you had a chance to have a look at the financials I posted early one entitled Chrome, pgms and the other Copper interested in anyones opinion.

Seisnav as well just how many has he got beggars belief.

Are these the same person. They all have the same bullying, aggressive style of posting and try and shut down any debate calling people liars, twisted, agenda, misrepresenting etc. and yet offer very little of value in return.

Gotreal you need to lighten up and take a step back. Forget all the other stuff. I will ask you a question what do you think the financials will look like for next year and why? and how do you arrive at your figures? I have posted mine doesn't take long to do.

Gotreal you made a mistake you did not read the header and what the post was about but you just can't admit it. I was talking and showing how chrome and pgms underpinned the share price nothing to do with copper. Everopeful then asked me to look at copper which I did plenty in both to debate and put alternate views but you are not interested in that put your green boxes on and leave the grown-ups to talk. You have a bullying aggressive posting manner and add no value whatsoever.

Gotreal for the last time where is the RNS that says they have? Until that comes out then they haven't this is a huge deal for JLP and they will shouting it from the rooftops if and when it materializes. I know if I was managing JLP I would be. They would be announcing it to all and sundry
