I never said I was considering moving to Cyprus just said if I moved from the UK Cyprus would be my preferred option. You really do need to read and understand what is written. It was deflecting Dorfan he was just nitpicking and his argument was weak. He was trying to put Cyprus down as I had said earlier if I was to move abroad it would probably be Cyprus so he was trying to discredit me with accusations of Cyprus and corporal punishment and trying to infer I am ok with that to deflect from his own actions regarding the punishment of children by him when Cyprus has stronger laws on corporal punishment than England so it backfired on him. He just makes himself look more desperate every time he posts.

Basically Cyprus has the tougher laws if you smacked your child at home in England and was reported if you didn't use unreasonable force you would get off. However if you did the same in Cyprus regardless of force you would be charged. However you would probably be more likely to be reported in England than you would in Cyprus.

Whether it is more socially acceptable in Cyprus is a strawman as that is down to individual choice and actions it is still unlawful and you would be prosecuted in Cyprus wherever it took place.

England it is still legally permissable in homes but is illegal in all settings in Cyprus in both countries can still be seen as socially acceptable. Unlawful in all cases in Cyprus but not in England.

Agree but you are not the judge of what is acceptable and neither am I. People are entitled to their opinions even if some think them extreme as long as they don't encourage or incite violence on others.

As it is the season of goodwill troublesome I will make a peaceful gesture to you don't butt in on my comments with your usual stuff you know what I mean.
