Just surprised at his two investment choices both highly speculative yet judged JLP an out and out gamble at 2.8p. I thought he would have gone for more conservative choices but each to their own don't care whether he buys JLP or not it is his decision. Hope he makes money on the other two after all we are all in it to make money.

My point was you have missed a 50% increase in the sp of JLP. Whilst the other two are very speculative plays however they have had decent rises recently so you could have made money on them whether they can maintain those rises and increase them remains to be seen. They are still at the start of their journey although midnight sun has been around a while now and gone nowhere until recently.

Do either of those two produce any copper yet or are they pure mining plays with mining infrastructure to build yet? What are the chances of further dilution for them and the timescale for them to start producing?

I have been better off under both Tories and Labour and also worse off under them both at different times also depends where you are financially in your life when different governments are in and how they affect you.

Maybe he is concentrating on increasing women's breast sizes with his mind to be worried too much about the right. He is a character can't take him seriously as a politician though.

I aren't calling him names Paddyk but him and his policies aren't the answer they are worse than Lab/Cons and Reform and only marginally worse than the Lib dems in my opinion.

There is a dearth of choice in politics at the moment I am not sure any of them have the answers. The Tories have done well at times and done poorly at others just as Labour have done in the past more recently both Tories and Labour have been a travesty.

Threatening Canada and Greenland is madness especially as it is him who has reduced the US troops stationed in Greenland something isn't right with him. He rambles on interminably at press conferences.

Reform may not be the great hope you think they are HardDown they will have the same problems the current and past government are having with immigration and also will face and intransigent parliament and House of Lords as well as a screaming hysterical left.

Any new government following the last two lots will have an almost impossible task and won't be able to achieve much in one parliament and if they don't the electorate will quickly turn on them also.

The article I posted Harley is reckoned to be around 1% of the problem regarding nail bars, barbers as fronts for illegal activity. Problem is huge and asi minimarts/off licences I agree also have a part to play mainly cash businesses easier to launder the money.

The problem is they only get the ones on the front line not the organised crime gangs behind it which pays for other criminal activity. It is a huge problem and the police don't have the man power to tackle it effectively they are just papering over the cracks.

This is the kind of thing that harley is alluding to asi. Something I have mentioned on here previously This is only the tip of the iceberg.

I deal with others accounts and financial circumstances you would be surprised at what you would call intelligent people in their professions how much they don't realise what they are spending compared to what they are earning. They just aren't financially savvy.

Whether we all agree or not doesn't it make a pleasant change to have a reasonable discussion about something without constant abusive and disruptive posts.

Many people have poor education regarding how to budget or manage finances asi you are just looking at it from your perspective. Some can earn 30k and make it look like £60k whereas some can earn 60K and be continually broke and in debt.

Higher rate tax payer pensions their total tax take could be cost neutral or cost beneficial. Don't forget the 20% tax they pay on income between 12.5 and 50k.

What about all their working lives some as many as 50 years when they have been cost beneficia? Just saying 90% are net recipients now isn't the whole story either.

You originally said £124 billion in a previous post whether it is £146 billion I am not disputing your figures I am saying it isn't accurate just to quote that as pensioners pay tax a lot.

Now that does depend on personal circumstances asi some maybe be borderline so will look at how they are affected and try to minimise any effect on their state pensions not everyone is in your personal circumstances many would be borderline.

For particularly wealthy people like yourself it wouldn't make financial sense but to some it would as many would chose to spend their money over their working lifetime rather than build up large pensions pots only to see it hammered in tax making them little better off than if they received a smaller pension plus the state pension in income terms.
