RE: Share Price Grinding Up19 Dec 2025 15:54
Seis,
I am at around $20 mill gross profit for Chrome/pgms. Copper we differ on and taking that separately:
I am looking at around 1900 tonnes for the first half. Looking at the previous results I will go for sale price of 9.5k and cost at 6.5k still think it will be quite high so a gross of 5.7 mill (or somewhere around 3k/ton gross) with overheads/interest payments/depreciation pretty much wiping that out. We might get some tax back but expecting very little net profit on the operations.
Comparing the first 6 months last year depreciation/finance cost and operating expenses were around 3.4 mill with no corporate costs in there (which was around 4 mill) assigning half to copper would come to 5.4 mill. Leaving a small net profit around 300k less or plus tax added back. I think depreciation will be higher so may push it into a loss but it isn't actually cash just helps reduce the tax liability. Net is aways more difficult to work out too many unknowns.
Of course there will be some revenue to come in from the two sales and the $15 mill for the first tranche of the sale. The second tranche will probably appear now in the second half figures so the figures overall will look better.
It's only guess work but a bit of fun on a slow Friday:)
