I get Starmer didn't want to attack Iran as he didn't believe the Allies had a cohesive plan for the end of it and personally I am fine with that stance where he falls down is:

1. He didn't provide enough assets in the area to defend British and Allied interests in the area in case of attack as the government decided the threat was very low.

2. Our number one ally the USA he didn't allow them to use our bases this is not the act of a friend.

3. We are hated by the Iranian regime so no-one should be surprised that our bases were attacked anyway it was naive to assume we wouldn't be just by not committing to attack them or allowing our bases to be used.

Starmer put himself and his party first before country. Himself because Miliband, Reeves and Cooper stood against him to join in and had he gone against them his position as leader would have become more untenable than it already is.

He put his party next as he was afraid of losing the sectarian vote even more after what happened in Gorton and Denton.

He is a weak leader and the UK's international standing is severely damaged not just because of Starmer but also because both Labour and Conservative governments have allowed our armed forces to be in such a parlous state. The problem is the alternatives in the Labour party are even worse than him and I include their messiah Andy Burnham in this.

Depends how long it goes on for whether oil price makes a material difference to Russia. Russian oil sells at $20 discount to Brent crude. I will wait for asi to do his thing and give us a comprehensive study on the effects of the war on the oil price and how it will effect Russia, Ukraine war and their economy. Over to you asi.

What price are they paying and how many military personnel do you think they have lost compared to Iran?

How much of US command and control has been lost compared to Iran?

How many assets and missiles have Iran left compared to US?

US have a lot more assets than Iran so their losses overall maybe negligible and replaceable compared to Iran's.

You seem to think US are losing getting hammered by missiles and have lost tons of assets to he point where the US is no longer functional as fighting force. I think you are grossly mistaken but we will see. However whether this all turns out better for the region, Iran and Israel or worse remains to be seen.

There are three wars ongoing at the moment troublesome involving 5 countries who have nuclear weapons in time chaotic maybe an understatement.

The outcome I would like to see is a democratically elected government in Iran. Sanctions lifted a US guarantee to Iran that Israel will never attack them and US will never sanction an attack (possible US military base in Iran) in return for a stop to state sponsored terrorism by Iran and the removal of nuclear material with this removal the US offer Iran industrial grade nuclear material for free to build nuclear reactors for power if they chose to do so. How practical or how possible this is no idea just my opinion or something even better who knows.

Some on here seem to be desperate for this to fail and the region carries on being unstable with state sponsored terrorism and the Iranian murderous regime to continue. So nothing changes or gets even worse.

The loss of the Radar stations is a blow if they have all been destroyed. The article doesn't say that just that they were struck but they could be inoperable for now who knows. They have still been taking out over 90% of ballistic missiles inevitably some will get through now there is much less being sent so less will get through.

The ballistic and drone capability of Iran is greatly diminished and they are unable to saturate the airspace over the ME now it has only been a week. See how many they are sending in another week? US and Israel have virtual control over the airspace of Iran. See what happens long way to go yet hopefully the ME will be better when it is all over but that may not be the case t could be worse.

Try reading this STP give you an idea of what is happening with both US defence capability and Iran's strike capability.

Equipment destroyed at some bases yes but which bases have been destroyed and no longer functional. You stated bases were destroyed not just hit by missiles.
