That's quite optimistic LawStudent, 225+ pre the divi drop will do me.
I would expect a retrace to offer a good reentry post divi.
Thanks for your reply Ian. I'm not as optimistic as you regarding brokers forecasts in the 50's & 60's but 30 will do me and then move on. This has been a drag on resources whilst other opportunities have been missed. Maybe when the next round of drilling is done onshore there will be more optimism but there's a way to go yet to get there.

Nice e try prices you have there.
If the prize is so bountiful you'd think there would be some action.
Can Jay survive to end 2024 with current cash and absurd salaries?
I guess IF the sp should get talked up(again) there would follow another purge on holder's.
Hi Ashton,
Your continued updates/comments on Jay are appreciated but for all the time you have been commenting, little or nothing has changed.
All your posts are very pro for the future and in fairness some are rightly critical of the bod too.
So i wonder, why is it that progress is so slow if this is on a comparison to norilsk? It seems kobold aren't in any hurry and without them Jay are stranded aren't they?
Thanks all the same for your posts
Whilst some of you are topping up, someone else is getting out. 3 x 500k (volume) consecutive sells plus a whole lot of other sells tells me people are seriously peed off and maybe we shouldn't be so optimistic here. In the grand scheme of things 1.5M share sale is nothing but there's writing on the wall as I see it and it ain't no love story. We need a kiss-o-gram from the Co, and it's well overdue but we're left in the dark.
The gas may well have been around for millions of years but whilst it is in the ground it isn't benefitting CHAR, and CHAR are clearly struggling to get it out!
Well under water (again) with this but hanging in there all the same, just in case! Thank the lord for RR.
I think 13th September is the dividend declaration date so tomorrow we will know. Forecast is 12p.
xd on the 28th September and paid on 20th October.
Agree mostly with LawStudent. Yes, I expect a rise towards divi announcement but not the £2.30 region. I'm hoping £2.20. Divi should be worth a drop to £2.10 and then move on.
Admiral expectations forrest Gump but I'm with kingbilly on expectations this week. SP is floundering at 15p, no excitement with any leaks so little to look forward to in the short term. Long term? Well how long do you want? I'm afraid we're stuck here for a while.

More RR engine hours coming
Hi surety,
My perspective on that is that after all that, where's the benefit to the Sp?
If all that you list is so good then you would have thought it would have translated into a rise in the SP whereas during the time these benefits have been accumulating the SP has declined and that was before the raise!
I'm sure the benefits will come but CHAR do seem to be struggling and I wonder how it is there's no recognition in the achievements you have reminded us of.
Infer, you say "I am sure A.P. will be looking after himself but he has a duty to all shareholders not to let us down after all the constant hype of good news. I am sticking with it and looking forward to some great news in the next week or two. AGM only 8 working days away."
A duty not to let us down! Wow. Wouldn't that be a first. Very naiive that.
It is clear that progress is proving a lot more difficult than expected and the outcome, when something finally materialises, is likely to be much less than expected here on this board.
I can't see anything significant on the horizon this year to enhance the SP and any announcements before the AGM update are likely to be more jam tomorrow. There's just no impetus with the company. If there was so much interest in the company with the reported numbers of interested parties having looked us over why has none of it translated into sp support?
Over 40 allegedly interested parties and no move on the company. Rubbish. I fear CHAR are being held out to dry.
I got back into CHAR as I was caught up again in the recent pre-raise hype of farm ins and partnering but so far nothing. If the AGM is the damp squid I think it will be, then time to move on again I think.
Just seen the Investirs Chronicle where there are two articles on RR. Usual background on the recovery and future prospects and finishes with a "speculative " buy!
Second article is about trading RR with references to charting strategy.
Can't reproduce but if you get the chance to read it is interesting.
Nothing is in the bag with the current traitors of west minster and today there is a piece in the Sunday Times outlining Terrapower as one of the contenders for SMR. The yanks have strings to pull given our puppets are weaklings, so it could well be a split decision. All the obvious benefits for the UK, jobs, tax payments etc. mean little if there's a suitable personal gain to be had!
Here's hoping my thoughts are rubbish but it wouldn't be the first time the yanks have reminded us about WW11 and demanded even more "payback"!!
The question for the current share price is though; what, if any portion of it [sp] is associated with SMR potential? For me the current gains are all to do with aerospace.
It's interesting that RM has a shareholding of circa. £1M and hasn't divested any since he conned someone at 14p!
He may be able to throw a million quid away but realistically, I don't think he would do that so why continue to hold if there wasn't anything positive afoot?
Very shady this lot.
I have opted for my allotted shares and also for some additional shares. When will the transactions take place as I read here that someone had bought their allotted shares and already sold them? So far there is no action on my account for the transactions.
