The only developments were:
"Ricus leaves "- personal choice - a lifestyle change, moving to Australia - nothing to do with JLP.
"CEO took his summer break" - would obviously have been planned well in advance
"Share tanks" - who is in control of the share price?
"Pt rockets" - only since 5th June, after the proposed deal was structured hence why claims it is too cheap are easy with hindsight, even if with said hindsight that may appear to be the case.
"Jubilee Zambian copper production half of forecast" - when? Which forecast
"What's not to like?" I agree, the timing seems bad but maybe you have a better crystal ball?
"We can only hope that there is some negotiation at the moment around the offer of "up to" $90m over 3 years. It shouldn't take this long to provide an outline of the offer. " We have no idea what terms are attached to the offer.
"One would assume that if the offer was being revised due to subsequent changes in the Pt market, a brief RNS could have been issued advising shareholders accordingly." One would "assume" lots of things.... and plainly many here are.
"But, as we know, that's not the Jubilee way." For many reasons companies keep their cards close to their chests... you choose to interpret that approach negatively. I wonder if you will feel the same way if they pull off a game-changing result?
