China is what matters with regard copper prices. Any temporary imbalance will be just that - temporary, as the "stockpile", if there is one, will get used and then demand will rebalance from the US. In the meantime China will continue to be by far the world's largest consumer of copper. It is a nothing story as far as JLP is concerned.

It also likely people selling here to try to take advantage of the GGP drop who assume, as is usually the case, that it is overdone and it will bounce.
