You take a circumstance, that it hasn't been confirmed that Munkoyo has re-opened and is shipping ore, and from that make a wild assumption that there is no ore to ship and state that "The other 9 pits they talk about are shallow trenches only with not much value." Not much value? You have absolutely nothing to base that wild statement on especially when the RNS states, and remember it has to have been checked legally that the information is accurate, "Production WILL commence targeting 4 500tpm ramping up to 8 500tpm. At the targeted grade this equates to approximately 200tpm of copper units delivered to Sable in addition to the production from Roan." To make that statement there must be PROOF that the high grade copper is there and readily available. The LOW GRADE ore that is dug to reach the HIGH GRADE is stockpiled onsite and will be processed PROFITABLY, as otherwise why do it, when the concentrators for the site are built. Yes, you are a liar and not worth the time of anyone to respond to you further.

Troublemaker / harmprof, I am not saying you are a "township boy", just that, for whatever reason, you have chosen a name for your avatar which just so happens to have a significance which would only be understood by Setswana/Sepedi speakers. You are free to invest where you want. Just don't come on this forum posting assumptions or opinions as if they were facts or, as in the case of justgiveup, outright lies, in order to cast the company in a poor light to meet your own agenda. You can be sure that anything done has been licensed by the Zambian authorities. There are always those who have an agenda and want to stir up trouble with innuendo to make themselves seem relevant. There are a lot of local politics involved here. Leon is not stupid and is well aware of the sensitivity of the issue. But copper is our future - let's stick to that instead of digging up spurious stories.

Justgiveup is being wilfully thick / devious as he/she has been told that and had extracts of the relevant RNS' reproduced several times before, Seis, as you know. Justgiveup seems to be one of a group of SAers, along with HarmProf and one or two others who have popped up recently that seem intent on trying to undermine the company now, whether out of malice because of the sale or for some other malign reason, like a lower entry point. Posting opinion as facts or simply lying, as Justgiveup has done with the post below, about the reality on the ground. As an aside, the word "harmprof" is code-switched street slang in the townships in Setswana/Sepedi meaning troublemaker, or as an adjective, always harmful / always causing problems.....

JMK has certainly grabbed the bull by the horns and appears to be doing many of the things we had hoped LC would do. Promises of better communication / interaction with holders previously have not been followed through. It seems this time it is different and real change is occurring. Remember, though, that despite his apparent willingness to engage, it is through the medium of email, not posts on BBs... Expecting a response to a post and not getting one could easily be interpreted negatively when it was never his intention to play an active part in discussion here.

You are entitled to hold this opinion .... but that is all it is. 15 years ago the company was a loss making South African business aiming to profit from a booming PGM market in the years before the "climate emergency" was discovered. Demand drivers since have changed radically and that market now is faced with great uncertainty, with costs of production rising fast and the company not owning the basic resources of production. But as the world has changed, and economic cycles have come and gone, the company has been repositioned as a profitable Zambian business, focussed on copper, a product with a much more certain future, of which the company owns apparently substantial resources. Having invested our money, heavily, over the last few years it will shortly have the infrastructure in place to be able to process up to 27.000 tonnes of copper per year to generate ~$100 million operating profit. You ask what it has achieved for investors? And I certainly don't deny that the road has been rocky and mistakes have been made, but company has been adapted as circumstances have changed and is now in a far better position today, with a far larger asset base and a coherent, relevant strategy, than it ever was when a South-African-only PGM business. But the MOST important thing is.... that we are still here. We have lived to fight another day, hopefully learned from the mistakes made and are now positioned for success and large profits. Leon has kept the lights on and the business going and growing. And when all is said and done, you always had the opportunity to divest at any time rather than hang on and post so bitterly now. It all depends on how you look at things.....
