I rather think the outstanding shares will effectively be in escrow until the payment schedule is fulfilled. Once the deal is endorsed the business is effectively signed over and the cashflow with it. IMO, the shares are only being withheld as surety that the payments are made and will not entitle us to an ongoing share in the operations profits....or losses!

Papaki... the current license for Munkoyo is 25633-HQ-SML (a Small-Scale Mining Licence) valid until 26 October 2033. It permits the holder to:

exclusively mine and dispose of the specified minerals within the licence area

Extract ore from open-pit or underground workings within the licence boundary

Process ore onsite using appropriate beneficiation methods (crushing, screening, concentration, flotation, leaching, etc.)

Construct plants, tailings storage facilities, and waste dumps consistent with the approved mine plan

Sell or export the mineral products produced

Obligations include:

Submitting and adhering to an approved Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)

Maintaining proper mine plans and annual work programmes

Paying mineral royalties and surface rents

So, Zambia’s laws treat leach plants as mineral beneficiation facilities, which are allowed under an SML. Operating a facility like this is bread and butter stuff to Jubilee.
