Maybe I am making too much of an assumption but I wouldn't have thought that they would be replacing the plug if the water wasn't still impeding the gas flow. I suppose there could be more to it than that. It could be that the pump is coping with the water and condensate and they are plugging do that they only pump condensate to the surface. Speculation really. Atb.

Roland has been saying for the last year that the frac was a success. Looks like the water is coming in faster than the pump can remove it. Hence the need for the plug.

Roland said in an email a year ago that they were hoping for a free carry on the first two wells. Any more would obviously be a bonus. We know they are targeting a rate of 4 to 6 mmscfd per well.

One thing that puzzles me is the statement that the field is self funding after the first two wells. This contradicts the graphs in the presentation that show the break even point is not until 3 years. There is 40 million usd Capex in the first year alone. I previously tried to get this clarified by email with no luck. Find out at some point I guess.

Whatever the detail it's about bloody time something happened. Roland sounded so confident which really tempts me to buy some more but then it's hard not to remember he was confident a year ago.

Exactly. In the meeting, he didn't really answer. Just said they were at the mercy of the other partys' time scale.

Sausage. I thought until the meeting that the jv were waiting for the rates. However, in the meeting Roland said " I can genuinely say that's not the case ". Critical I am of the incredible delay. I don't believe he would deceive us like that. He also reiterated that the 77h rate has little bearing on what's to be expected from new wells.

OILEX/SYN has been involved in a lot of projects that have come to nothing over the years including Bhandut, Timor Sea, Irish Sea, Australia and probably others I've forgotten about.

Hi Jack. Yes it does give a time line, up until 5 year's time culminating in a storage permit application in 2028. Don't know whether any of that will do much for the sp. I suppose it depends on whether they get the investment. I won't be still here to see it though. Wasn't expecting to be here this long when I reinvested 2 and a half years ago. Made the mistake of believing the promised time lines. Lol

Jack. It's the company's own statements on time scale that makes most of us uninterested in CCS.

Can't find the reference at the moment but they said somewhere that the first CO2 would be injected around 2032. Presumably some time after that before any profit is made and a lot of investment beforehand. I suppose that if they get those II's on board it could push the sp up earlier. All a long way off though and doubt it will happen without Cambay success first.
