A*senal. Normally and logically I would agree that reaching the cash payment point should give a massive boost, but you would have thought yesterday's news would have done the same, do I just don't know any more.
The response I got from Briana indicated that there were no plans for a Tweet or rns.
Confounded. The current price for the low pressure gas is $8.57 per MCF. That goes up to around $15 when they connect to the high pressure network a year or two down the line
Then there is the condensate at $80 a barrel.
Yes Phillida. They must have their reasons. Maybe even with the lower output there's a good return to cost ratio with the vertical wells.
A vertical shaft to create a horizontal well
What is going on? What does it take to convince the market ?
Lowtide. I think you are misunderstanding. Of course you have to drill a vertical shaft to create a vertical well. The shaft then turns sideways to create a horizontal well which is fracked. A vertical well is just that, a vertical shaft. I suppose they might be drilling them first to get a quick return. Not inconceivable that they could be turned into horizontal wells later, but there is no mention of that. Atb.
Not sure what that means Lowtide. Previously they we only talking about horizontal well with multiple frack zones. Now they are saying that the first 3 wells will be one horizontal with a target flow of 4 mmscfd and two vertical with targets of 2 mmscfd. Obviously what Selan wanted to do.
Being in the mix.
Yesterday's good news, hopefully we will see a further rise today. With GOI approval in a few weeks, followed by the cash payment it's now got to be worth waiting at least until then.
Was quite surprised to see that the three initial wells consist of one horizontal and two vertical wells. No previous indication of vertical bring in the mix. Probably, explains why they are able to do 3 wells and 3 workovers for 20 million usd. Selan must think that even with their lower output they will be cost effective.
Who can't buy back ?
Not sure why Jack. Infuriating as shorting is to us holders, shorting is perfectly legal. It happens to much bigger companies than Syn.
Sausage. The trades on this page show that at that time on Friday, sells were going through at about 0.118 and buys at 0.122. So almost certainly a sell. Must be regretting it now.
Currently 0.145 to buy. 0.135 to sell. Bigger spread than recently.
Ars*nal. Have emailed Briana and Roland.
Good point Espen. Might ironically, have led to no funding required this year.
Good point A*senal. A Tweet or rns emphasising the bullet points wouldn't go amiss.
GoI approval in weeks instead of the previously stated 3 to 6 months means we get the 2.5 million in weeks which in turn must be the reason why no funding required this year.
0.137 to buy. Totally baffled.
Confounded. Must admit I was feeling very downbeat at where the sp was sitting. Immediately after the jv announcement I was very positive and did a detailed post as to why it was worth much more than Selan was paying. It was only the price action that made people think the worse. Looking much better now.
