It's very hard to think of any way in which the situation could be any more doom and gloom. It was already disastrous even before this weeks news, having declined 90% in little more thsn a year. Just when we thought it couldn't go much lower the company's actions managed to halve it agsin.

The vast majority of those still invested are not here because they have done their research but because they have become trapped by the precipitous decline in the sp.

It's possible anyone investing now could make s good return but I can I can remember people, including me saying that when it was 10, 20, 50 a 100 times what it is now.

Not sure I believe it's as much as 70k. Suspect they've included expenses they'd incur whether listed or not.

Yes. Just checked and the price paid for the 55% from gspc was 2.2 million.

Don't know what they paid for the original 45%, which must be 15 to 20 years ago, but it must have been much more. In 2013 they sold 10% for 3.8 million.

Not sure it's capital gains tax. Didn't someone talk about a reply from Roland that said something about withholding tax?

With my 90 million shares, I will be voting against the sale and the delisting. I know the sale vote is a lost cause but it just p*sses me off that they couldn't find a way to keep going until revenue from the new well came through. Surely can't be more than a few months away. That 14 million for 50% and probably not much more than 20 million fir the whole of Cambay is a small fraction of what they told us it was worth.

Tempted to buy more but even if the delisting is defeated there is huge uncertainty around how much cash is returned.

Hi DP. After I fell out with Roland, I undertook never to post anything again without permission and I kept to that but he still wouldn't reply.

Now Briana has said she won't respond further after I tried to find out what the score was with the increase in the number of shares.

Hi Wolf. A total of £5 million works out at 0.027p a share which would get me about half back. Then again, there's no guarantees it will be that much, especially if/when they go private when they can do whatever the hell they like. I too am sitting on my hands.

Seemslukeearm. Not sure where you get 46% retail from. It's got to to be more. If you look at the Web site it lists the top 9 major shareholders, all nominee accounts ( for some reason Republic is not there ) which totals 54%. Presumably there are some more smaller ones and some direct certificate holders. So maybe 60%.

Thanks Crusty. No I have never had an offer to vote on anything. Presumably all that talk in the rns about proxy forms was if you wanted the bod to vote on your behalf.
