Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
"We have invested more than half a billion dollars in this project in the form of exploration, and about $ 60 million worth of oil and gas have been extracted so far. However, as a result of these investments, an ore has been identified, but its large-scale development has not yet begun. Accordingly, Outrider Management and other companies that have invested capital have not yet received a refund. In this regard, it is understandable that Outrider Management and other shareholders, including me, want to return this capital back to us.'
' large scale development has not yet begun'
'understandable that Outrider Management and other shareholders, including me (which also hopefully includes us) , want to return this capital back to us.'
These 2 bits of info and the previous incognito communication acknowledging shareholders existence are giving me a small amount of hope that we're still holding onto zaza's shirt tales as shareholders through this sh*t storm.
It doesn't sound like to me outrider are happy and think they are entitled to much more than they are being offered, if not the whole shebang. Zaza's comment sounds like a 'like it or lump it' olive branch and BTW call off the legal cases if you want to be in the club. Just my opinion. Not sure it was the enquiry about the companies being struck off that triggered the comment but probably outriders Stirling bid to the GG
Cya later Jester mate, good having you here.
Not sure we are going to see a return of the website. FRR are still trudging along in some form or another currently as far as we know. If they planned to continue on as FRR (after somehow surviving this debacle) then they would need the website still for Moldova at the very least. A certain section of the Moldovan press would be happy to announce that the PSA with their country is cancelled due to FRR dying a death, if that was a matter of fact - so it could be worth keeping an eye out when all news avenues seem quiet.
With everything that has happened, regarding Zaza's media campaign attacking the GG and the international pressure caused by FRR to Zaza stepping down and now nothing in the media at all, perhaps the idea that some sort of deal is being done lock stock and barrel in the background is not that far fetched. Due to FRR's precarious standing, I doubt a fraction as lucrative as it once could of been. How much change would shareholders see from say $150 million do you think?
I was reliably informed this was the golden age for frr mate - don't worry.....
I'm sure he could certainly spin a negative tail about the GD, frontera and him leaving/being booted out of it was going to be in his best interest to futher PR damage the GD. Since he hasn't, I'm going to take that a positive in regards to some sort of resolution between frr and the GG. Whether not us as shareholders are in still in the loop of the outcome is yet to be seen!
Reg pretty sure we learnt at some point there is workers on site again now extracting oil and gas - at least that is my recollection from some of the translations.
Giving RR's track record of offering up literally zero new information about the company ever (good or bad) and with with no substantiation, I'm going to sadly discount what he said as purely a fantastical manifestation of his eternal optimism.
Welloileds post is the most rational assessment in my eyes.
Shareholders nerves would be satiatiated with a simple acknowledgement of our existence from frr. I wonder if they have any clue of how stir crazy things are getting in here.
How have all these media people been getting in touch with zaza for interviews etc? There must be a route to direct contact and unless he reached out to them all, which I can't see being the case.
Last time I could see the zaza profile on fb it said he was frr ceo still. However, the jj Carter guy who has previously said several bits of positive information regarding frr said he wasnt anymore. So I don't know what to think, as regards to whether he is connected to frr anymore or whether him having left was supposedly a good thing for the success of frr. It does seem convieniant that zaza is no longer on TV for frr and the timing of the post saying he'd left.
The blocking he obviously knows how to do. I can semi understand he doesn't want disgruntled shareholders spamming him for answers he doesn't have or commenting his every post and picture when it's not even relevant.
I have been using fb since 2007 and still fall victim of not seeing messages for many months - Not that I'm saying he would reply if he did see it anyway.
As for the legitimacy of the profile. The earliest post/picture I recall seeing was june this year but it seemed authentic. Probably not his main profile but one relating to his recent media interaction
I had his fb page open in a tab and I notice the content had disappeared. I also had sent a friend request and have been blocked (although haven't confirmed by logging out to check) but I didn't send an accompanying message. Chances are your message would of gone into 'message requests' anyway (a separate inbox) looed - as you are not a friend and I doubt zaza is that familiar with using Facebook to even check or notice that.
Blocking random friends requests is a pretty unusual behaviour(or perhaps it isn't for him) and he had almost 800 friends so not that descriminatory clearly.
Perhaps someone should make a convincing 'semi anti government Georgian person' profile and see if they can successfully add him
Bad memory apparently
I remembered some of the footage like of zaza in his hard hat but it also had other people talking on it which I didn't recall from the other video
I had a decent creep through, the profile seems relatively new but legit, not sure if it was tied to him trying to raise his pr presence. Found this video that might be of interest. It's 11 minutes long and he's reposted it https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1733526986801733&extid=JQo4JnczDrQMt28M. Also has 162 comments (mostly in Georgian) didn't have time to read through them all though as off to bed. Those of you with Facebook, its probably worth having a nosey through. Also says he's still CEO of Frontera.
He also posted this '- The stage of denial has passed
- Yesterday is already a phase of anger
- Negotiations should be next
Let's see how long it takes to get to that stage. Two more stages to go ' on the 17th of August
Given his posting history leans towards positive information for shareholders, i'm going to take an optimistic punt and say this is somehow good news for FRR....lol....although at this time I have no idea how....
Jj Carter has more apparent legitimacy than most on here, didnt he post the pictures of the letters from frr's lawyers saying the Georgian government had no case to cancel the psa? That would indicate some proximity to the business non of us have. (that's if I remember correctly)
Assuming true, could him leaving have anything to do with the also recent discovery documents and evading the depositions requests?
A thread just disappeared I was replying to?
I don't think there is any predictions made over the duration of this farce that have been correct yet. Luckily that includes frr being done and dusted and sadly our 20billion deal, which just shows how little of picture we have actually known.
I think a lot of people are feeling justifiably uneasy and annoyed about shareholders not being acknowledge by Zaza at any point. Which also leaves people with the worry of if FRR have a future in some form, will we still be part of it?
I am of the opinion he will not engage with us until there is something concretely positive to tell us. That was probably his plan initially but due to the 700 can kicks down the road it's now got way out of hand.
Any form of communication would go a long way, even if it is just a statement regurgitating the same facts we already know, addressed to us as shareholders.
I mean that video with the cprs will have been made quite a while before it was released. His talking points may have changed since then. Let's hope they're seriously round the table at this point as for the GG, this is very bad PR which will drag its heels all the way through to election day. They still have time to turn this around into some sort of 'Georgian dream success story' as a shareholder I just want my money safe, returned preferably in profit but as a moral point of view GD get kicked out still too even if they make a favorable deal with FRR
Why bother going through the hassle of creating a redacted version when the GG said they were cancelling the contract anyway regardless?
