I'm sure there is a few of us in here. I'm on a small loss currently but you're sure as hell I reduced my exposure when it bounced back recently! Face now less eggy

I had a lot of my eggs in ggp a few months ago, which was written in the stars, destined and declared by God himself to lay a golden egg and it dropped a Turd when a major walked away and its arse fell out. Lesson learnt. Nothing is for certain its easy to get wrapped up in the hype/greed of the message board. Don't loose sight of your exposure/risk

Your impression that it is on similar scale. Of 1.8b dollars Is disingenuous as far as I can tell unless you have evidence to the contrary AFAIK they are attempting reprove the asset due to the increase in metal value on the off chance, is my impression. And they have not asserted it to that magnitude. Being invested here I'm obviously open to being shown otherwise so welcome links etc

Thanks, I just checked the website. Thought the graphic was going to clear it up for me, it hasn't quite. There is gravity anomaly (obv i can work that out, gold and other metals very heavy compared to dirt) magnetic anomaly - obviously gold is non magnetic. hole 1 was i the middle of the magnetic anomaly and gave the awesome results yet hole 2 is in the middle of the gravity anomaly. With my approximate zero knowledge of actual gold mining i would say that hole 2 should give better results but if that is the case why are holes 3+4 more situated in the magnetic anomalies? is holes 2's position to do with the dotted straight line? (whatever that is)and then there is colour banding..... What does that mean? mineralisation? Why isn't there an obvious key for scrubs like me to interpret the map instead of having to openly display my lack of knowledge, can any much more informed geologist/miners briefly explain

Pleasantly surprised this has recovered. I was expecting it to potato at about 1.7-1.8p until next (hopefully positive) news. Does anyone know how the holes were geographically positioned? is hole 1 working from the outside in, or is it central to strike area? ergo they drilled and released that first for the most hype, i'm hoping that isn't the case!

Send me to the gulag! Im invested in this so obv want it to succeed, if we could keep the ramping to once an hour per person though that would be great. All it does is whip people into hysteria who then close down constructive conversation and make people invest more than they can afford because it is a 'dead certain'.... Just like last time. I just read the RNS - that was quick to core those 4 holes. My impression from the RNS is they're completed and are in the process of analysing the core samples. Exciting!

Sorry i've been out of the loop doing a PGCE so i haven't been able to watch or read up on my shares for a long time. In my experience, they usually drill the holes consecutively, are you implying they are doing doing them all simultaneously?

You have to remember that some of us were here last time the golden goose dropped a turd instead of the golden egg. I for 1, have de-risked slightly.
