At what point do Lidl or Aldi just buy the company to get the property assets? Morrisons as a company will never perform, time to finish them off.

This looks like it has dropped too much? They just got Black Friday wrong. They were not competitive and so me and others bought from Amazon and lost the Christmas trade. They were then stuck with too much stock and so they had to heavily discount which would affect margins. Shame as they are a great retailer they just did not get Black Friday right. They are unlikely to do the same next year so is this worth a punt or is this a sign of a company still run by directors who do not know how to make money? Any views?

Does anyone know how many shares Justin King sold before leaving. Talk about a captain abandoning a sinking ship. This was always my steady Eddie share. No dramatic changes in the price but a good regular dividend. I expected a full take over given the property assets but this will only happen when all the bad news is out there

This share will fly after their next update. More and more people are becoming aware of this brand. I can also see a takeover approach by one of the big boys at this mk cap

Went to Poundland the other day and it was empty - no customers, no staff and the lights were off. The front door was not even open. It was 3am though!

Just had an e-mail saying that Sainsburys price match will no longer include Tescos. Is this a statement basically saying that we cannot match Tescosb prices anymore? Cannot see this going down well with customers and makes a mockery of having a price match policy. May consider getting out as further price falls will surely be on the way

Can't help but think that these shares are looking cheap and have been dragged down by Tescos (every little £250m helps)

Keep seeing these cages around in London and reading positive reviews. The share price looks slightly high but good long term potential. Should I buy in?

I work in retail and travel around the UK and see lots of their shops. They are always busy and new shops are opening all over the place, especially on retail parks. The shops are well presented, give a clear message to customers and the staff are good. Given this, I am happy to have shares in the company. The role out in Spain will determine how the shares perform. The Spanish economy is coming out of recession and so I am confident that they have the correct strategy. A positive update on Spain will take the share price to £4
