Hopefully update tomorrow will get this share price up closer to £1. We are down 50% from the beginning of the year but ITV is still trading, has higher viewing figures than last year and there is a lot of corporate activity going on in this sector. Think that it has been well over sold

Trade will never get back to previous levels. A lot of people will be avoiding Spoonies as a result of Tim Martins treatment of staff, they will generally have less money to spend going out and have also got use to supermarket prices. In Tescos you can get 12 bottles of beer for £10, you would be lucky to get 3 pints for this. Going to a pub and having to social distance for the next 12+ months will also affect the atmosphere. Hopefully a lot of people have broken their habit of losing money on gaming machines. Cannot think of a single reason to buy this stock

I was a big fan of Tim Martin and Spoonies but now I have a different opinion. Why would you tell your staff to get a job at a Tesco’s? They will end up without any staff, this will lead to poor service and customers going somewhere else. He really needs to explain his behaviour today

The rates reduction given will save them 100s of millions of pounds this year and so people think that profits will be higher. They will but their costs have probably increased considerably so not all will go to bottom line

Good advice and I have shares in 10 different companies and looking at average losses of 30%, but some I have held for 15 yrs. just did a review of portfolio and decided to take the 55% loss on Redrow which I am obviously gutted about. They are a great company doing everything right but I just feel, like you, that this has further to fall. Will continue to monitor and may buy back but people are not going to be moving for 1-2 years and I do wonder what this will do to their cash flow. Hope I am wrong on this by bailing but sometimes you just have to do what you think is right at the time

I remember being in a similar situation in 1991 when I moved into a new house on a large estate. All work on the site stopped for a couple of years and it was actually quite nice. It also meant that house prices, although they fell a bit, did not plummet. I am sure that redrow and others will have to do the same. Unfortunately I cannot see an end to the 15% a day falls. Wishing I had cashed out last week and now cannot decide if I should take the 50% hit or hope that I am wrong on the continuing decline

Does anyone know what the current cash/ debt is with this company? I have looked at recent accounts but these are a bit out of date. I know these are exceptional times but every time I look at the share price on this it is down 10-15% and just trying to work out why this is getting hit more than other shares. Appreciate that people will be delaying moves but they still have a lot of assets

Typical, shareholders like myself end up with next to nothing and some big corporation makes millions with very or little risk. No point in buying speculative shares anymore

£2.10 by close of play tomorrow if this turns out to be accurate

Can see steady increase next week if opinion polls continue to show Conservative majority followed by 10% increase following a Conservative win. Obviously a massive potential downside in a Labour win but fairly low risk

Decided to sell today at £4.65 to break even as the shares have had a good run in the last few days. I have seen a few Superdry shops recently and unfortunately could not see any positives. The shops are not very busy and the prices look too high for this economy. I was the only person in the Ipswich shop on a very warm and busy day in the town. Think they have opened shops in towns like this where there is limited demand and maybe 50 or so shops need to close. I think it will be fixed but 3-5 year turnaround. Think the shares have topped out for now. Good luck all

I bought some shares a couple of months ago hoping they had reached the bottom but sadly this was a mistake. On recent visits to their shops, I am worried now that further falls will be coming our way and so I am tempted just to sell and take the 10% loss and put this down to experience. Anyone have any views on why it is worth hanging in there? Is it just a case that people are bored of the brand and have moved on to other brands?

Mike Ashley has made some bad mistakes in last 12 months so cannot see him being in the market for this dinosaur

So I now own shares in a company that does not have the funds to mine and is relying on government funds at a time when the government does not have any money. Look forward to seeing this go into administration and then someone comes along and buys it for next to nothing and makes billions!

50000 shares is a bit of a token effort, if he bought 2m shares, that would give me a bit of confidence in his ability to turn the tide

This company in terminal decline and even though SR talks a good game, he is selling shares because he knows that this is a managed decline. In next 2 years share holder value will be gone but someone will buy them out of administration and make a fortune. Sad

So the shares are worth somewhere between £1.40 and £21. Just sent my CV to Morgan Stanley to see if I can get a job predicting share prices!

Listening to LBC this morning and their financial reporter was talking as though M&S have one last chance to sort out the mess or merge with someone else as their clothes do not appeal anymore. Imagine the shock when this company disappears
