Whoops, this bit is inaccurate:
"So, it seems the Bibimi deposit is close to the major volcanic system in the west of the country"
Not near, but on the same system?
I'm am absolute novice in learning about the geology of gold, and this will likely make Tim and Claire cringe, but I'm going to share what I think I've learnt so that my knowledge can be corrected. Hopefully as a layperson hopefully this will help others.
So, it seems that gold deposits seem to occur around volcanoes. Based on the images I've looked at, gold seems to well in little pockets on the side of some kind of vertical vents (the seem to occur near hot springs too so maybe on the thermal vents where they maybe cool?)

Anyway, so if you're looking for gold, then finding somewhere that has/had significant volcanic activity is probably a great start.
So, it seems the Bibimi deposit is close to the major volcanic system in the west of the country.

But, there is also a volcanic system in the centre of Cameroon. From what I can tell, where the plates seem to meet the volcanic area is where there is a good chance of gold and you can see our license hugs that northern edge of the volcanic system, and it's that bottom right of those license that we have extended and found significant gold anomalies.
What is really important here, (connecting the dots that the BOD mentioned) is that Bibimi is the same type of system and they've proven that out. They are replicating in the same place in the eastern volcanic range and are finding gold in soil.
I now understand their confidence. Whatever gold is in that system, and there will be as it's on the ground, is all theirs and it's a massive area all to themselves.
This isn't question of 'if' at all. There's solid geological evidence that this is exactly the sort of place gold is found and no-one has been there before. Its not like National Geographic gold diggers where they just hit and hope haha.
So, makes more sense to me, if I've got any of that right???
What's looking similar at the moment was the rise we saw 2 years ago. Same time of year, similar movements. Money is starting to sit on the sidelines so there could be some speculation over Xmas like last time. But past does not indicate future blah blah.
Cameroon has 12km with gold at surface, never before tapped. Bibimi is 2gr/t, could you imagine 2+ along a strike that long? I could certainly imagine some considerable lumps in that length ooo er.
Is it the MMs who sell poxy amounts i.e £2 here and there to make it look like there are lots of sells. Otherwise who sells such small stakes?
Following a similar pattern to this time last year....
Definitely seen the bottom now, it can only go up from here
Over 4% of the business now! Das ist goode ya?
If so that should be illegal

I suspect those sells were a "free carry" i.e £10k put in, £2k made, £10k taken out. Sit back and relax
More swingers than holders around at the mo. It's all about unemotional profit, not the medium or long game. Those people are holding onto their cash whilst we're in a bear. What we need is stagnation
Isn't a lot of the sells bots that do it automatically? If a set of criteria is met i.e a theme, then it will buy and sell accordingly. There needs to be a constant volume which means robust fundamentals alongside a large amount of publicity
POG forecast is $2500 next year
The most important thing here is that there is proof of minable deposits in Cameroon which looks very exciting for the 12km strike in the district package
A good few of us would be multi millionaires if that happened. Sounds ridiculous but it's possible. If there was a big find, it would run away with itself as the realisation hit home that a new virgin district could produce multiple finds.
The science is pointing to this possibility. And the hypothesis has continually been confirmed as true...so far. Odds are very good.
Two things. Firstly the gold price prediction for next year is $2.2k. If that does happen (20% increase) then it may turn on the big guns who can turn a profit from that kind of price.
Second thing, this price is getting too low. Surely there's a consolation on the cards?
Yeah wondered if that bit was snuck out at the end a bit undercover. Land access issues as in limited roads or issues with the local population? The latter could be a problem and reduce the license package considerably
If I was a massive gold mining company and I was more than acutely aware that there are no new unexplored frontiers and yet there was this little company who had carved out a brand new district and got licenses to explore and was having continued success with discovery, I'd be watching them like a hawk and preparing to scoop them up before other majors. I guarantee that there is no question the majors are hovering intently
There is literally miles of gold scattered at surface. If there was no visible gold or just a tiny bit here and there I'd be more pessimistic. This is the sort of place prospectors in the olden days would create a township to develop. So if there isn't significant gold below ground I'll eat rotten turnip covered in marmite
Yeah these crypto insolvencies are highlighting a vulnerability. Expect people are moving into gold instead
Interesting. I wonder if anyone on here can make it on our behalf and ask a list of questions we can come up with?
