You've basically just said we're making assumptions and then followed it up with a bunch of assumptions

It's an incredibly important and consequential thing for them to get right, so taking time is fair. Once it's done though, the Mbe application will be much quicker. Every day they delay is another day they don't earn from it, so it's in their interests to keep it moving

Gold is starting to do what it did in the Suez crisis of the 70's....massive ramp up, big pullback, and then up 700%.....

I'm positioned for next weekend if there's a big 250th independence day announcement for gold-backed treasuries, and who knows, maybe a repricing. It would be heaven's gift of that happened and gold rocketed and then we get a EL announcement. We can dream right?

I think if there was a risk of such a massive dilution then Ivor wouldn't have bought in just yet.

I disagree with the 18 month re-rate timeline. There's too many consequential catalysts that would occur within that time.

Oriole's price has been capped because they can't legally pull any pay dirt. Nor can any potential buyer, so there's firm frontier cap that we keep battling with. Once someone/anyone can legally dig, then it's all about the in-the-ground risk, which for Mbe, only requires the infill before a buyer would come sniffing. The world is desperate for gold. Once those two things are confirmed, the market will price in the fact that someone with money can realise the value in the ground and that would be limited by the jurisdiction risk. Once the EL is granted there then newsflow will have more of an effect because the impossible value realisation becomes possible

I've been thinking about the funding and dilution challenge, because it seems the board are like the US Fed and use its people's wealth to print money. Spend spend spend. However, I very much doubt Ivor would allow persistent dilution. He can't sell without crashing the share price which means he's expecting a buyout or to be able to offload to an institution. A deal, no matter how illusive it seems, is still my base case.

The market will pay what the company is worth. If it gets a licence, then Oriole, or a buyer, can pull anything out of the ground and any asset can be realised, one way or another.

Makes you wonder. The other interesting thing to ponder is that BCM are progressing with this, but not Pokor or Ndom. Is that because there's another suiter (the BCM deal took a long time to ink) and so they're doing this instead?
