Like what was mentioned earlier, I think if they were going to buy, it would either be imminent or they would have done it already. Maybe they made an offer to avoid price appreciation and perhaps Oriole said no because they want to realise full value. Maybe they don't want to pay full value and would rather be a receiver of full value

Mayo, when you make a significant investment, how soon do you expect even a modicum of return to remove the risk? 1 year, 2 years? 4-5 years goes beyond most strategic investment calendars

Any raise needs to be connected to a significant share price rise so they can give with one hand and take away with another. We know the EL has the potential for a liquidity event, so expect the raise announcement immediately after the EL. £2.5m more at 1.2p is not as bad as at 0.34p and shrinks the dilution

They bought a mine, not a piece of land with gold under it. They've spent $8m, they'll want a return asap, not in 2+ years

Whatever happened it resulted in a 10m share sale and the MM hovered them up cheap and the consequence is a share price drop. Typical AIM behaviour but hopefully it's a positive sign if the MM wants the liquidity

To put that drop into perspective, last week there were two climbs in the share price of 4-5p and on each of those days the volume was c. 125m. On Friday it dropped 6.5p based on 20m. It's a joke. That's manipulated the share price. If it was by accident it should have been corrected. If it was on purpose...well....

That report is based on fiction. The 0.30p drop based on a 43p share purchase wasn't real. If that was manufactured then something's not right. That should have been corrected after hours because the news is saying we're up when we're fake-down. WTF!?

Bad for Oriole selling to BCM also, they'd rather have a tier 1 miner in their midst for the other licences also

I don't think BCM will buy them out at all. It's not what they do. They'd be sitting on the resource for ages whilst all the permits and infrastructure gets sorted out. That's bad business for them. They're a mining contractor. They're way more likely to sell their share and propose they stick around to do the mining with some kind of agreement.

Hench, paper ounces are worthless until we get the EL. We should be talking about post-EL valuations because that is when the ounces in the ground can actually be accessible and investors can see a route to value

MMs looking for liquidity by messing about? Surely not

Ndom is shaping up to be the giant of the regional targets.

​The Data: Recent rock-chip sampling at the ND02 target returned grades up to 17.00 g/t Au across a massive 3km by 2km zone. Crucially, the field teams noted the quartz veins here appear structurally similar to those at Mbe.

​The Speculation: A 3km strike footprint is identical to the entire MB01 corridor. If drilling proves that ND02 has similar depth and width continuity to Mbe, applying the Mbe Ratio (750k oz / km) suggests Ndom could theoretically host 2.0 to 2.5 million ounces on its own. Even if the mineralisation proves to be more disjointed, the sheer scale of the 3x2km anomaly means a 1+ Moz discovery is highly plausible.

​Speculating on Pokor:

​Pokor currently looks like a textbook satellite deposit.

​The Data: Mapping at the PK01 target confirmed a "comparable geological setting to Mbe." It currently features a solid 1km-long, North-South trending soil anomaly that is cross-cut by higher-grade structures (returning rock chips >1.0 g/t Au).

​The Speculation: A 1km structural footprint is almost the exact same size as the MB01-S deposit (which holds 870k oz over 900m). If the subsurface geometry holds up, Pokor's PK01 target is a prime candidate to deliver a 500,000 to 800,000 ounce resource.

​The District-Scale Picture: If Ndom and Pokor follow the Mbe trend, you are looking at a regional package that could realistically hold 4.5 to 5 million ounces globally (Mbe @ 2 Moz, Ndom @ 2 Moz, Pokor @ 750k, Bibemi @ 460k).

What's important is that we still could join up north and south and we have to other exploration targets exhibiting similar structure. I genuinely think this means Oriole are sitting on 4-5m oz with Bibemi, Mbe, Pokor and Ndom. It's then just about dollar per oz attributable value. Currently sitting at c. $22 oz.....

If Oriole made $50 per oz then they could be a $200m company.....but in a buyout that would be closer to $100 per oz. And that's still be conservative. That 6.6p valuation is actually looking plausible

With these sorts of results you can now see what the opportunity is with pokor and Ndom too. If Mbe north and South ends up near 2m ounces, we can assume with Bibemi, these other licenses could be 1m+ each. So all told, the immediate district story re-rate is based on 4-6m oz. That colossal

Excellent results, comfortably pushing MBE south over 1m oz on its own I reckon

Next set of results should be this week based on previous cadence
