If you're thinking about selling at the first Exploitation Licence or the step out drilling spike, let me make you aware of a very important detail that most will be missing.
They wouldn't look on me very kindly for calling this out, but here we go.
3 of the board members (Eileen, Martin and David) are at the top end of their 60's with significant share positions. Do you think they're looking to continue with Oriole as a lifestyle company, or do you think this is their Retirement Trade? After 30-40 years in the trade I suspect they're pretty done with flying back and forth to Africa for negotiations and conferences.
What does this mean? Well, it means that they are highly likely to explore a liquidity event i.e selling the company. That's the only way they can exit with maximum value. So, if this is what they are doing (which to be far is what we would ALL do), they will be packaging this company up and aiming to sell it to a mid-tier or major. I suspect BCM are even helping with this because they get a payday and they may even get a future mining contract out of it.
So, when you think about taking your profits, think about what the strategy really is and how this could benefit you too
