Judging from the trades, it's smaller private investors selling up - perhaps the crowd that bought in for a quick gain off the back of the rumours, or simply those selling up following the herd!
The trading update shouldn't be a surprise - we already had our trading update on 8 Feb! Revenue in the range of £18-20m. If it was any different, materially, they should have been announced already. I expect with that revenue range, we will be EBITDA breakeven +/-. Given we had cash balance of c. £12m as at end Sept 2020, other than for capex and ramping up facilities for govt contract / US expansion, then cash will be around that level and healthy!
So, take it easy. Invest based on fundamentals and enjoy the long term reward........proabably not that long term given the news we have had since the trading update. Read it again and tick off each of the news against the expectations of the management that underpins FY2021/22 projection of at least £25m........ALL ticked off bar one being reproductive healthy in USA - which I hear is coming!

I agree - don't think recent deal news (x3) and more to come has been reflected in share price at all.......

I think today's RNS answers any question re PCR testing! Crucially, YGEN will also be doing sequencing, which means any positive tests via other forms of testing will also be a funnel of work. This is important to track virus variants and so is here to stay! Who cares if we are listed on our own or not, the key is that the tests are coming in........I see the partners as sales channels.......IG impact should be over as well tomorrow.

Hi Twix, no........basically move to 100% deposit factor 26 Feb (step 1), then delisting 29 March (step 2) ie has to be closed!

Could the recent falls be something to do with IG delisting YGEN (amongst 900 other small cap stocks) from their leveraged dealing accounts? Suspect so in the run up to 29 March. If so, just timing and we should get back up after I reckon. An opportunity perhaps.....

There seems to be some confusion around the numbers. The brokers report says £50 / test for YGEN - remember this is TOPline. What the blogger (Dan) says is £25/test BOTTOMline. And I think they correlate ie if £50/test revenue, we can make £25/test profit.
Assuming we hit capacity when travel / private testing market reopens, which I have little doubt we will, then we are talking about £1m / month revenue (which was what LR quoted), or £12m/annum. This will be £6m to the BOTTOMline. Big numbers! And assuming there is the demand, LR did say we can ramp up by 10,000 chunks per month.
I suspect the magnitude of today's news will filter through........plus further NIPT / Coastal contracts to come......

What he said simply validates what we expect, except clearly with some intel of timing & values. LR indicated already in his presentation YGEN are in discussion re Covid deal and US contracts.
From my perspective, the downgrade in revenue was unfortunate and strictly due to Covid lockdown. The company proposition, products and services and strategy very sound!
So long we hear of contract news in the coming days / weeks that validate the deferred revenue and more, we can safely expect AT LEAST £25m revenue in FY22, with high EBITDA.
This will justify brokers target of 26p without Covid. And we all know Covid testing is here to stay, so add the 13p on top for that, it is 39p! Plus new contracts.......and you can see where this blogger got his %%% increase!
We are still at placing price, so lots of upside to come. Those who participated in the placing are no fools!

Big trades reported after hours. I am not sure how 5m can be offloaded at full bid price. So, either there is another buyer in the background OR it is actually a buy order being filled over a period of time. Whatever it may be, looks like done and next week should be interesting. Coupled by the fact we are at lows, US contracts expected and FY outlook maintained, I am hopeful of a progressive share price in the run up to year end. Have a good weekend all.

Nice sizeable buy by non-exec director.........guess he sees value in both yield and capital growth in the year ahead, as GSK is sitting not far off its 3 year low!

Today's news re Covid test is welcomed. Here's hoping it will get us to the £1m tests per month, plus test kits sales on top. Having said that, we seem to be all fixated with Covid testing only, which is effectively an add-on for us, a good add-on in might I add. We have a strong base of core products, which are growing geographically and into new revenue streams. I am particularly excited with DPYD , platform sales (very sticky) and expansion into US.
Company seems confident with outlook for FY2021, and into the future. And why not.
Should we hit consensus forecast for FY2021, we're half way only to target price - so a lot of upside. Many stocks have benefitted from vaccine news, yet we have not.

It's in the AIM rules......interims / HY is 3 months from end date, finals / FY is 6 months. And to latest post, NO, they don't have to inform markets when they report it, although some do. A company just has to report it within the deadlines.

Florida, they have to issue interim results for HY to 30/9 within 3 months of period end. So, we will DEFINITELY get an interim report before turn of year. I suspect company waiting for more news / validation, that will allow them to say FY2020/21 will be in line or even better exceeded! I am expecting -ve EBITDA, the level subject to how they deal with the investments in genomics, capacity increases, Iona NX rollouts.......what is most important is forward guidance. We have had quite a few deals signed since Sept......
