Fat boy with his 27% holding wants to be CEO..However the founder has effectively been chairman and CEO with the soon departing CEO (in name only) being used as a figurehead to appease investors..The board argue that Ashley has shares in rival ASOS so a conflict of interest...However it is inevitable that ASOS and Boohoo will have to merge in order to be serious rivals to Temu and Shein...That will be easier if Ashley is in charge with both his holdings.

Listening today on radio 4 news it was twice mentioned that separate Yougov polls etc in presidential election campaign...lm just wondering if Yougov might give an upgrade in coming results due to many elections taking place across the world benefitting the company...Also wondering if they might announce a move from Mickey Mouse AIM to main market,instead of directors moaning about low value of shares..Any thoughts

Saga plc will be a buy when the 3 cruise ships are sold,and leased back to company..This will remove near £600m off the balance sheet.

The insurance matter is really no more than a side show compared to the ships.. Telegraph reported two weeks ago that Saga was in very early discussions with parties,but a deal was a long way off

Argy...Calender updated after l put in an official complaint about the website..After they did not respond l sold my shares,and only after two months did they respond with updated calendar... AGM 2022 had a trading update,this time nothing on RNS so l asked them if one for 2023 year end...no response,no update..

The company is a basket case..The website shows a financial Calendar stopping in 2022..I got no response from them when asking if the previous AGM would include a trading update..The company gives no prior notice of its intention to announce an update thru RNS...l am led to believe BofD are very weak.

Trading update yet again a bit disappointing..Jam tomorrow for last 4 years..Revenue down from last year,due to maintaing higher margins,yet in spite of this losses are still substantial at £700,000 for last 26 weeks..The company were making £100,000 profits even with discounts in prices..So the figures make no sense..No director buying for years..It seems directors deliberately exaggerating positivity..

The departing CEO was put there to satisfy shareholder concerns.In reality he was just a figurehead without much power..He just took a huge salary and let the chair carry on both roles.. ASOS and Boohoo need to urgently merge into one entity as both of them cannot cope with dominate Temu and Shein.

I have done a lot of DYOR,and it's all positive..My uncertainty about investing is related to post results,the company lacks newsflow (until recently) and the SP slides slowly down and down regardless..It does not seem to make up 100% of the slide when they do produce a positive update..Since year end the SP slid from 16.5p down to 10p.However after update l bet it rises to around 13p..

Should l buy more Sosander shares before trading update.Cant make up my mind???

Got into a panic yesterday as my investment dropped like a stone..Bought more to cover my losses yet it continued down for more losses..This morning was amazed to see price at breakeven so quickly sold for £12 gain..Had l waited 30 mins my profit would have been £380..You just can't second guess the markets.

Silent..yes l bought £8,500 @ 48.2p yesterday,having previously sold at 58p for a big loss in summer.. Probably sell when the actual split takes place in December,unless there is real upward momentum in the SP post split...Game On!!!

Vicious.. Ingenuity ltd in several years time will be worth 3/4 times more than THG plc..More and more companies will want to outsource their website trading and logistics,as it's too expensive and time-consuming to start up on their own.

Demerger circular will be published in early November and actual demerger taking place probably in December..After that THG plc might well get a proper upwards re-rating in SP,so need more patience..

Go....l rated the company a sell and price went from 46p to 38p..l now rate the shares a cautious buy because in the US companies are not waiting for the election,but have been waiting for interest rates to come down..In Britain,Reach plc digital revenue increases are relevant as it means companies in Britain are starting to spend again of digital advertising...Asia is more problematic though.

Reach plc today reported an increase in digital advertising revenue in their trading statement..Good news for S4 plc

Half year results out on 22/10/24...

An additional 196m THG plc shares will flood the market tomorrow..Should not make much difference as it covers the extra £93m raised...What will be interesting is if wether the subscribed investors will sell their holding instead of waiting for the transfer to ingenuity ltd..This would depress even further the SP.Or if they chose to top up with thg plc shares in addition to their allotted ingenuity shares.This would increase the SP...We will soon find out

My guess is in the next update later this month,Sosander will announce a great success in the store openings,and have a rights issue to realise enough capital to open another 50 shops.
