Mr TJR, interest ing perspective. But what % of tests do you think will be performed by GDR's kit? Can clinicians be influenced by management not to choose GDR's kit (which is obviously the gold standaard due to almost immediately result)

Mr roger, You are misleading the chat board. Nice stated today that the lab test cost between £44 and £139 per test, depending on size of batch and GDR test kit costs £100 ex VAT per test.

Manchester clinicians will undoubtedly be invested in GDR imo. Certainly below 3p! I'm biding my time now. I have no fear of missing out, GDR has taught me to fear staying in longer than expected.

Could be worse, think of those pi's who bought at 5p... and those traders enjoying their quick profit after selling on news.

GDRs sales team have no excuse now. If they are smart they would've taken their summer hols before 31st July and today will have started going through the NHS and middle east telephone book trying to sell the stroke marker kit.

The rampy traders will even have you believe that its the derampers that are the problem!!!!! It's quite disgraceful. LTHs can ramp as much as they want if the price is rising, or stagnant but ramping as the trend in movement is southbound, is as disgraceful as deramping as the sp trend moves north. SP is clearly in a range of 3.7 - 4.2p if you only look at the price at COB. Will it trickle south now no news is expected? or will it push north? or simply remain in this range and leave rampers and derampers alike bleating at every intraday price movement.

Indeed the rampers won, sp is up 8% on news. Albeit not a convincing victory for rampers. Perhaps a victory for the adage "sell on news"? Time will tell.

Good summary Mr roger. But tbh expecting anything more of the NICE announcement was wishful thinking. sales forecast, nmbers.. only time will tell. But At least its official , hospitals can say yes to buying GDR kit imo, but how many trusts will buy it? Only those that have no lab testing availability? If so, how many do they number?

However, medics do not run the NHS, the managers and their budgets do.... and NICE, in a way. Hence NICE want hospitals to keep the immediate costs down and choose lab testing.

No argument but then clinicians don't control the hospitals budget, its the managers who follow NICE recommendations who do. Unless anyone can correct me otherwise.

Yes Eureka, the clinicians WANT GDRs kit. NICE has told them to use it when lab testing is not available.

Any clinicians here to give us an idea how this will actually work in reality?

IMO GDR needs to help the clinicians promote the kit by giving it away for a nominal price or even for free and live off the tests.. It's how the printer industry and ryanair works!

2.5 days is sufficient as far as NICE is concerned.

GDR can only hope that the labour government will agree with the clinicians that GDR kit , despite costing more per test, will save the NHS more money than the dinosaur lab testing method.

of course. GDR's kit is preferable to lab testing any day, But the NICe recommendations are telling the NHS managers to choose lab testing first and if its not available then choose GDR. As such Mr cheek can't project sales right now. THere appears to be a battle between the peny pinching NHS managers and the clinicians who want to do whats best for their patients. NHS managers.... bloody tories.

NICE report states GDRs kit is NOT cheaper hence the lab tests are the preferred choice of the NHS managers. But this article clearly shows that the manachester clinicians prefer GDR's kit. So its a battle now for GDR. If GDR were the preferred choice. Sales projections would've been made AND ii's would've piled in.
