"Why not give it a full reccomendation "
NHS would be obliged to buy it without having the full data required, so if something went wrong NHS would be sued and heads would presumably roll for breaking with procedure eg a baby testing negative for the gene , receiving the anitbiotic then losing their hearing. Followed by an investigation that showed that the baby had the gene all a long , would lead to the NHS being sued .
"how much do we spend on subsidised MEP s"
Has your village re-joined the EU, Mr Hammer?
Wrt GDR I'm afraid that no news is never good news but bad news.
Mr Nissan, interesting link. It has nothing to do with AIHL and only shares the commonality in newborns not being able to hear . In their case, it's something babies are born with. In AIHLs case, its something a particular anitbiotic may cause and is more likely to cause if a certain gene is present (however, the gene just increases the risk of hearing loss after receiving a specific antibiotic, its not a certainty, hence more data gathering is required). Which is why Mr Cheek remarked on the story. Doesn't do any harm to try to promote AIHL on the back of someone elses news.
"James Cheek
CEO / Country Manager / Director - highly commercial, collaborative leader who builds and leads result focused high performance teams. With experience in sales, operations, sourcing, tenders and strategy.
This is great work and fully aligned with the work being done by Genedrive for the MT-RNR1 gene variant- lets prevent gene related hearing loss. #genedrive"
I can't wait for tomorrow, when the SP will hit 30p for sure.
I don't think labour are interested in delaying the role out of modern techonology, especially the testing technology that GDR is producing. Data gathering of testing methods is always important but ultimately GDR do not marketing medicine but a test.
From WEs Streeting just now
"I argue that our NHS must modernise or die, not as a threat but a choice."
GDR will be in a good position if they can survive the last months of tory misrule.
Thumbs up if you are a tory voter (thumbs up is anonymous of course).
"The new CEO will broker that deal and get a nice LT sweetner to make it happen."
"Mr Cheek and his company's new bottom" is a good title for a book.
""The technologies considered by NICE for EVA are market-approved and are either already in use in the NHS or are expected to begin uptake in the next six months.""
I expect a labour government will budget for AIHL to be rolled out throughout the NHS asap but right now, under this incompetent "Conservative" government, the NHS just doesn't have the budget for it. GDR investors who vote tory only have themselves to blame imo.
Mr Nissan, is logging out and logging back in again as Mr Systemzero and will write something to back himself up. He's making fun of rampers. Well, I hope for his sake he is.
" .I,m expecting full NICE recommendation for AIHL before Xmas
Mr Nissan/System, data collection will take 3 years (announced by GDR themselves). I wonder whether you are invested at all as I can't believe that someone invested in a company would not have read RNS's etc. I'm no longer invested but I read RNS's as its a company I'm interested in investing in (again, but just not yet dyor).
But you could be suffering from immense stress and your coping mechanism is to simply forget all the bad news that has been announced. Or you could simply be taking the mickey out of rampers. Lol.
"Hashtag you will be a millionaire soon if already not one"
Do you mean Mr Hasttag was a multimillionaire and will soon become a millionaire?
If the tories were not the corrupt gentlemen thieves that they are, GDR would've won a contract for testing imo. It's simply common sense not to vote tory.
"Jolyon Maugham, the founder of the Good Law Project campaign group, said: “The scale of PPE waste and corruption is sickening: over £10bn lost; more than four in every five pounds spent. If you’re serious about looking after public money – yours and mine – you want those billions back. Recovering them starts with political will. Until now that has been sorely lacking – so this is a very positive development.”"
I suspect a bit of support at 8p for a while.
"my target price still £1, but will settle for anything over 50p..."
Mr sustemzero and mr nissan are the same poster. Someone called it a couole of weeks aho. I now agree.
"It’s gotta reverse at some point surely?"
Why? What possible news could they publish now to reverse the unrelenting march south? Sales?!?!
" I will just hold until at least 50p+ now."
"Now"? Mr nissan, You mean a minute before you wrote that you were considering selling out?
"Maybe a new high coming. If it doesn’t hit over 50p by around middle of December, then it would have been 2 years with it being under 50p."
LOL Mr Nissan, no-one could ever blame you of being a pessimist. I've never read such an optimistic and misplaced reason to suggest " Maybe a new high coming. "
"The mistake Budd made wasn't sales, it was not selling the business when approached. He thought he'd hold out for a better personal deal despite no cashflow, under the belief he'd get a higher multiple for GDR. Well that was silly as it generates little if any cash, so he should have taken the deal at circa 30p per share"
Which company offered to buy GDR at circa 30p a share and when?
And if this is true I believe Mr Ian GIlham is the ultimate boss of GDR, if GDR didn't take an offer of 30p a share then that was his ultimate decision not Mr Budds imo.
"Hopefully I'm wrong but I haven't been very wrong to date."
That's probably the worst part of a failing investment, Mr Roger, you are one of the few humble and intelligent investors who post on this board imo. Good luck.
