Perhaps Mr Carrots considered himself an insider but his posts suggest not. I can't imagine how GDR will be able to finance the 500k cash-burn now. All trust is lost.

This afternoon, LSE has evidence that alot of posters ie RAMPERS on this board are friends with people directly involved with GDR and/or NHS. Tbh for all the ramping that you've done over the years , this shock announcement is perhaps a sign that you thought you were insiders but unfortunately there is always another layer to insider knowledge.

Mr Jimi, if you are a "bit concerned" then things must be truly awful.

However, excellent post explaining why you are concerned however. I particularly respect you for not mentioning money in the GDRs bank account - successful investors like yourself know that its not about money. The money flows in the right direction , just a matter of time, as you point out.

Genedrive PLC on Tuesday announced that its chief executive officer has departed from the company after less than a year in the role.

The Manchester-based point of care pharmacogenetic testing company said James Cheek, who was appointed as CEO in September last year, has left the company immediately by mutual agreement.

Further, Genedrive promoted Chief Scientific Officer Gino Miele to CEO. Miele has been with the company since 2011 and served as CSO since September.

Chair Ian Gilham said: ‘Gino has an unparallelled knowledge and understanding of the company, products and commercial strategies. I have every confidence that the leadership team, headed by Gino and strongly supported by our Chief Financial Officer, Russ Shaw, will lead genedrive to a successful future. I would like to thank James for his contributions at genedrive and, on behalf of the board, wish him well for the future.’

Genedrive shares fell 8.1% to 2.85 pence each on Tuesday afternoon in London.

By the end of september, I expect one share will be worth far less than 0.8p

Dr Miele is CEO and CTO. I suspect he IS GDR and he's doing a great job.

What had Mr Budd and Mr Cheek done that Dr Miele has not done? Nothing! Under Dr Miele , gdr has actually made solid sales (but its all relative when the cash burn is 500k per month). You could argue Mr Cheek may have had a hand in initial sales but why was he pushed out if that is the case?

The sales are increasing, they told us yesterday.

I trust Dr Miele far more than Mr Budd or Mr Cheek. But no-one can work miracles wrt NHS contracts. NICE has spoken and it wants more test results for the antibiotic/hearing POC and it prefers lab-tests to POCs for stroke drug product.

I think we've all been there at some point . Some investors risk more and get lucky through averaging down and selling at a profit. Averaging down is simply buying low and selling high to make up for badly timed trades (ie buying high). It's pure luck though. Even a falling knife stock like GDR has given PI's who average down opportunities to sell out, about one rise in SP per year. It's a tough lesson.

Mr Franky, I agree GDR has potential, however like you, I believe the potential is far lower than what the market currently thinks.

Over half (11) of the last 20 posts have been filtered and I only have Mr Carrots on the filter list. Excellent!

All investors , especially Mr Carrots, are in it for the long term unless they cut their losses.

Increasing the number of employees has had a positive effect on sales this time according to this RNS so I doubt they'd let employees many go.
