Well said LWHL. The challenge with investing here is the leap of faith required when it comes to trusting the board. Misleading information on prescription numbers, whoever is at fault, is highly problematic. With a company this leaky the price action will always be a leading indicator so we can draw our own conclusions from the continued sell off.

Biggest issue this year is those covenants. No going back from board agreeing to onerous requirements around revenue growth this year - it will need to double just to not break them. They can't blag their way out of that one.

If there's an offer it would have a distinct heading so you would see it. In the meantime the 8.3 forms are required for shareholders with 1% or more, the 8.5 forms are for brokers/market makers trading the shares.

Does make you wonder what impact the late payroll is having on morale. Earlier this month they said: "the Group continues to need to secure additional capital prior to the end of March 2024"

Now they say: "the Group will now require additional capital by the end of February 2024, in order to inter alia, meet payroll and other short-term working capital requirements"

This isn't the first time they've got cashflow forecasting wrong or had problems making payroll. Unclear if they're giving away these contracts too cheaply (ie less than cost), the tech clearly decent but management really could do with a shakeup.

For all his faults Candy does have credibility on subject of trading patterns and artificially inflated price in that period, being largest shareholder throughout. The other key factor is Steven Smith being on Audioboom board has worked for him for 15 years, he'll have given Candy the inside track on everything.

It shouldn't be right for Bonnier get away with that market manipulation, regardless of outcome of case with Candy. Could simply be that not enough people have raised it with FCA. What I do know is that if this was the US the SEC would have banged him up a long time ago.

That manipulation by Bonnier now being referred to on record in court could be a gamechanger. Candy is onto the FCA, if you're facing a loss like that with Bonnier connection would be well worth adding your voice to case👍. FCA can be pretty hopeless, but for smoking gun they just need to look at price action and fake takeover hijinks all over internet in 2021-22 to find wrongdoing.

The carpet bombing positivity against all rationality is a bit suspect, but I don't really go in for the paid poster theory. There would be no point, it's not moving the price on a 9 fig stock no matter how much is posted.

What we have here imo is just Moulding mega fans. Would explain intimate knowledge of what is said in a video, while getting basic market mechanics wrong. Like how your daughter or sister loves Harry Styles, these fellas have simply fallen head over heals for the stock and Mad Moulding.

There are some key differences with Hornby vs Boohoo or Asos.

1) When Frasers bought in to it was priced only a little over NAV, ie not much more than stock + property + cash less debt, a valuation so low it would leave any future profits effectively free.

2) Low market cap of only around £30m when they bought. As we all know small caps are more volatile.

3) It has a remarkably low free float. Major shareholder has 73%, major shareholder #2 (who Frasers bought most of their shares from) had about 16%. By the time we subtract a further director holding etc, that leaves less than 10% of the float actually being traded.

They buy on 18th and 30th Jan, but fail to report those trades until 12th February.

They sell some shares on 14th Feb, then don't report that until today.

All well outside the two trading days requirement. FCA have strict rules around this for good reason, in the meantime could buy/sell to their advantage, definitely distorted the playing field. They've made a few grand here at best, I don't know what they're thinking if they're just trading this rather than RTOing it. Madness for a broker worth £160m to take the reputational risk/potential FCA repercussions.

Yes it's on hold at the moment, pending government response. Riot and others now effectively in a legal fight with US government, we'll see how it plays out but they don't tend to roll over at first hurdle. What this case has brought is time. Originally the survey results were due in July, those results would have to come before legislation, hope now is they can they can kick the can down the road as long as possible.

Mining will never stop, over time it will just move to the most favourable jurisdiction wherever that might be. If every miner turned off tomorrow difficulty would adjust accordingly and it would be like 2009 again you could mine from your Windows XP PC.
