Agree with you Robemy71. There is support for the project at a local level. There's the obvious like jobs and taxes it would bring, and there is such a long lineage of Irish gold from being baked into mythology of the past south of the border. There will always be nimbys wherever you go, but the gold story sells itself.

Issues around planning are a bit of a red herring at this stage anyway. This is an explorer and will be valued as such. You see explorers in all over the world without a permit, let alone functioning mine, and with fewer proven ounces in the ground like this has - valued in excess of Conroy. Plenty of names just at the stage of drilling holes valued in the tens of millions in nightmare jurisdictions like Mali.

Without wanting to jinx it, this does appear to finally be on the cusp of a decent move upwards now.

I know it's really all about how trading is going, but from a chartist point of view we've hit a classic double bottom around the 180p level and both times it quickly bounced back with healthy volume to support it. Judging by the share price, market expectations for next update have been so low that you sense any sign of green shoots and this stands a very good chance of re-rating significantly.

I've bought in here again, cheap enough now. Going back to their guidance for the second half of the year (ending March), they are very bullish about prospects for both revenue growth and bottom line. If we take them at their word, we are now well and truly back into growth phase.

Considering they are in the same line of business as Filetronic which has doubled in last year alone, clearly demand for these products in only going one way. Just a case of executing but the backdrop looks extremely favourable - serving rock solid industries like defence, aerospace, satellites all absolutely huge and growing markets.

This is now a very binary bet on whether the get the Jelani permit renewal, or not. If they don't, the value of the rump US assets are so greenfield they'll only be a fraction of the present £20m market cap. With just 4 months to go and for years the JV having done absolutely nothing with it, question becomes why would the authorities grant the renewal?

I agree with you. From a chartist point of view this has broken through some significant resistance over last month and now looks extremely well positioned going into results.

Last year saw some previously unloved microcap biotech names like STX and IMM rerate fairly spectacularly. I actually think RUA is superior because it has a rare combination of that biotech growth story coupled with a robust balance sheet underpinned by a growing revenue stream. Suspect 2026 may well the year market finally wakes up to this.

I really like the way this story is unfolding, potential giant in the making.

As well as Haywood, I suspect these guys have potential to be kingmakers here.

They are investing in Irish gold in a big way - worth looking how many millions they spent to acquire majority stake in Galantas' Irish property - while Galantas plc are pivoting towards Chile.

The fact these guys are pouring big cash into renovating that mine north of the border is telling. Then you look at the links here. Conroy own land in area surrounding that mine. Conroy's gold is on same geological fault line. And south of the border, as we know Conrory have a significant amount gold in the ground - hundreds of thousands of ounces - more gold than the Ocean Partners property. Once that gold is dug up, the Ocean Partners property could provide the processing facilities.

The more you look, the more links and synergies you find.

I'd say some form of M&A is nailed on here.

Already that buy looks quite well timed here. Interesting it only takes a relatively small amount to noticeably move the price. Sense these shares are tightly held, so if/when we do get the positive update we're all expecting, it shouldn't take much for this to re-rate quite quickly.

Becoming very hard to buy stock in volume here. Hold on to your shares.

Interesting to see Ryan Matthiesen take a stake here recently. He is investment manager at Haywood, big players in Canadian mining equity deals

So a pretty big name to have bought into a micro cap like this. Where it gets more interesting is if you look at some of the deals Haywood have overseen. Canadian Nickel Company was one, that's seen blockbuster returns as Canadian government took a big stake in it.

And most recently Galantas Gold. Galantas links to Conroy probably go without saying, both geologically and as the only other listed name in Irish gold. Galantas has seen spectacular gains this year with a deal brokered by none other than Haywood.

With everything kicking off on the world stage, imagine demand for defence consultancy services only going one way.

One other is Hycroft (NASDAQ: HYMC), quite a well known name now with US listing, but again was totally unloved before he arrived. One year chart is the stuff dreams are made of lol.

I don't know how the guy does it, buy all you can really do is follow his lead and strap in.

Another interesting case study of Sprott's MO is Discovery Silver.

He bought a stake in that company, restarted what was essentially a dormant mine, along with some other operational changes, management, expanded resource. Sound familiar? Highly recommend looking at the 1 year chart for that stock - TSE: DSV

Now the dust has settled and we're clear of the 3 day rule, this does seem to have consolidated nicely. Calmer board too 👍

Caution needed with David Burton. He is behind total-market-solutions.com. Well known for p&ds - promoted names like AAI, look how that unfolded. As they say, if you lay down with a dog, expect fleas. Paid for by Lexington, should be disclosed.

Could be the market is waiting to see how second half of their financial year plays out. After significant revenue decline in first half, there's quite a bit riding on it.
