RE: TGR Results1 Oct 2022 14:22
Hi SI,
While there has been unfortunate delays out of the control of the company (cyclones + logistics) and I agree the TSG situation needs resolving asap to get things on the downstream moving asap to win market share early, I also agree the worst is behind us as TGR is about to complete the most important part of its evolution from small scale producer to globally significant profitable producer of scale at 30,000tpa+ able to fund itself and further organic growth (and inorganic via Moz and Mada acquisitions). Of course delays and slower process than planned according to the MTDP has hampered confidence perhaps (I reckon it will be more likely 2025 when the 84,000tpa will be reached in Madagascar, although this could stay as targeted for 2024 but will be hard imo), but the share price has fallen in line with many others because of the macro picture and being a pre-profit business - this will change now imo as we turn cash positive with the move toward profitability and very little to no debt, and profit should grow year on year as production and sales increase and scale up follows imo - Shishir has no control over the share price to be fair to him, but what is important is manoeuvring the company successfully into a growing profitable business which the market will recognise with more results down the line imo and makes me happy to hold and buy more at these levels with all the news on the horizon as well.
Cheers and GLA!
