Numbers seem a bit strange as they were over 3000 at the start of the year.

Everyone is assuming that all 8 studies are required for By-Healths regulatory submissions to SAMR. I don't believe that to be the case.

Sphinx, Bellow is just my opinion based on the evidence/articles that have been found.

By-Health is seeking to establish a new permitted health function claim. This new claim is not allowed under the list as it is and SAMR have only issued the draft rules on how to apply for a new health function claim. Once the new regulations are in place By-Health can then submit to SAMR for the health function claim "for foods such as Fruitflow that can demonstrate an anti-platelet effect, addressing the aberrant blood clots which can lead to heart attacks and strokes."

Once SAMR have accepted By-Healths new health function claim then only By-Health can use it for five years during the monitoring period.

By-Health were initially going to launch a product back in 2017.

They then decided to go for Blue Cap and more studies were needed as regulations in China for suppliments changed and got tighter. Finally, probably due to good study results, By-Health decided they wanted to apply for a new health claim that would better suit Fruitflow (and give a better return) on the health claim register. Each step requiring more studies to pass the regulatory hurdles.

As Dr_H says, applying for a new health claim is a new process so we have no idea on timescales.

FF as a drug could well be the next step but lets hope we start seeing revenue before then.
