Today's news is good enough without coming up with ridiculous calculations just cos they sound good.

We know that it's producing 2,980 boepd, of which we get 22%, being 656.

We also only keep 43% of the revenue. So ASH-8 would make something like $10M a year, not $88M

So $24M x 0.43 is about $10M

850 boepd @ $75 average looks something like this:
revenue: 850 boepd x 180 days x $74 x 0.43 EGPC = c $5M
direct costs: c $2.5M
admin costs: c $1M
profit for H1 = c $1.5M

That gives profit for a full year of c $3M or £2.5M.
This is from AS alone, apart from the divestment profit which is considerable.

Seems to be a big deal. Note the following:
* This is Thyssenkrup signing with Unigel - one of the largest chemical companies in Latin America
* The German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs was there
* It was an MOU (yeah, they're not nothing....)
* They're increasing the capacity to 240MW (we're going for 400MW)

I think we’re still a ways off binding agreements, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

I’m buying what I can. of course nobody wants dilution, but it’s obviously needed sometimes. If a few more rounds of dilution are needed to help move the project forward to the point where we’re worth hundreds of millions, so be it.

News like we’ve had recently should push us up. This would be a joke if an mcap at triple this and if the market would only wake up to that, our next round of dilution (if we don’t have financial close by then) would have 1/3 of the effect of the last one. Seems likely that that’s why we keep raising only a small amount each time, while other AIM companies go for a few million a pop.

BOIL is basically UOG if we only had Jamaica, had no revenue and diluted regularly.

I'm happy for them to not put out a timetable.

AG, I think a lot of the agreements depend of each other.
EG the Chinese won't release funding unless they know there are buyers. Buyers won't sign a binding contract until the project is a lot further along.

So at the moment we get all these ducks in a row so everyone involved can see the plan and once we get the feasibility report, each partner in turn can pull the trigger, each knowing that the others are in place as well.

People moaning that they are just MOUs and not binding are being very very silly. How can a buyer sign a binding contract when there's no facility to produce the hydrogen? And how can a financier sign a binding contract without a feasibility study or knowing there is demand? But everyone is showing their intentions so we have all the pieces of the jigsaw, before putting them all together.

To the moaners, what on earth do you think should be happening right now if not getting these MOUs?!
Do you think there should be nothing at all until a hydrogen plant magically appears out of the sky and we get a nice RNS about it?!
Or maybe you think the Chinese should give us £2Bn without first knowing it will be commercially successful?!
Obviously the project needs to be arranged piece by piece, which is exactly what Naheed is doing. Well done Naheed.

A careful read of the RNS shows "up to 50MW"
So they're not guaranteeing something we can't be sure to produce.
My guess is that the output is approximate (and conservative) and this way if we have more than 400MW we can still sell everything we get.
My point is just that demand is definitely there and is strong.
