So several of John's messages have been deleted. Maybe he realised that stating that he had insider info. was not wise and, if true, no doubt his contact at Novum is not pleased. Surely it would be illegal for the company to action a placing for new shares when it has stated that it has already used up it's authorised 75,000,000.

p.12 of the Annual report states:
At the year end the Group’s Statement of Financial Position shows net assets totalling £177,069 (2018: £81,680). The Company has few liabilities and is considered to have a strong cash position at the reporting date, whilst it has raised almost £540,000 since the reporting date which is anticipated to cover all expenses up to the point the Company reaches break-even.

I don't think the 'overhang' of 2 million shares is likely to be holding up the revolving credit sign off. It's a mere £40k. If it was a real problem and I was GS, I'd lend them 2 million of mine as there is Zero chance of the resolution failing to pass.

Those who are influenced by twitter have all gone, net sells to brokers total a little over £5k, all in all a non event day.

There are umpteen reasons why no RNS has been issued for the signing off of the Revolving Credit facility.
First is of course that it hasn't been signed off by both/all parties yet.
The reasons for this could be as simple as the lawyers are taking longer than GS anticipated to dot the i's and cross the t's on the original agreement. This, IMO, is the most likely.
Then there could have been a change asked for by either party.
ALGW might have asked for the amount to be increased if DS has more than $100 million worth already lined up.
The lender may have asked for additional security.
There may be unforeseen complications due to the fact that the US, UK and Cayman Islands are intertwined.

It'll come when it comes.

As for why not many here are still buying at this level well, unfortunately I, for one, have put all I can into it already. I have further funds but they are in a fixed interest account which doesn't mature until mid September and my wife refuses to let me sell any of our Premium Bonds. Also I'm in for about £130k's worth and even though I have great confidence in ALGW that is already a higher %age of our total funds than I should have invested in a single share.

IIRC they stated that they would be in the UK before and after the New Year so I would guess that they are still over here. That being the case it could also be the reason for bringing the date of the AGM forward as they probably don't want/need to be here until early March.

Using the form on the web site I asked the following questions regarding the AGM:
Will the Executive management team be physically present?
Will the Non-executive Directors be present?
Is the time 8am UK time?
I'm not trying to be awkward so would it be helpful to submit questions in advance?
Will you be making any statements and will you take questions regarding future expectations?

In my earlier forecast I estimated that, based on GS's AUM figures ($100 million in 2020 and $250 million in 2021) that ALGW would break-even in 2022. HOWEVER having just posted a paragraph from the Annual report (see 2-3 post lower) the statement states that the £500 million cash in hand "is anticipated to cover all expenses up to the point the Company reaches break-even." Well £500 million will only last this year so that is EXCELLENT and I think we can look forward to break-even by the end of this year with the associated sp :) STRONG BUY from me.

Seriously? All this kerfuffle over something that PoS DH said on twitter? FFS what's the matter with people? Frankly if you buy or sell shares based on things said on twitter then you deserve to lose all your money.

Where has this rumour? of a raising at 2p come from?

Why would ALGW need to raise any money in the short term? The only possibility that springs to mind is the, again only rumoured by 1 individual on here afaik, departure of SLIM. Are they being bought off?

In that case it's probably best if you ask your broker what they do/charge. I have only ever bed and ISA'd FTSE100 stocks in the past so it looked as if they sold at the bid and bought at the ask but then with FTSE100 I guess you can't really do better than the spread :)

The cost to you will be the spread, you will sell at the bid and buy at the ask plus a charge by your broker for the service. In my broker's case they charge for 2 days overdraft interest as the money from the sale in the ordinary share account will arrive 2 days later (the settlement period) and they will have 'lent' me those funds in my ISA for the 2 days.

Is it too soon, is ALGW too small, is it even a thing for a company like ALGW to employ or retain someone to look after their public relations?
