Yes I think he probably missed the edit error. There is no way, IMO, that he would ever try to give some sort of hidden clue in an RNS. I have met him and corresponded with him for quite a while now and he is an absolutely straight up guy who is not going to play any games.

The last line read "facility for the Warehousing SPV is being finalized and further. Further updates will be made in due course."
Surely it is just that he was going to write '...is being finalized and further updates...' then changed his mind, started a new sentence but forgot to go back and delete the two words 'and further'. IMO human error is way more likely that some cloak and dagger explanation, fun though that would be :)

My research consists of reading all of the documentation ever issued by ALGW and SLIM. Also getting a handle on what the Life settlement market is all about. Then having ongoing communication with the Chairman and CEO of the company and attending the AGM.
Taking a few disparate and unrelated facts and a bunch of assumptions and turning those into a belief that there will be a JV with Blackstone is not research but dreaming.
There is nothing wrong with dreaming and let's hope that Blackstone do indeed turn out to be the financiers of the RCF though I don't want them to force a JV on ALGW. I'd much prefer that they do a buyout a year or two down the line.
As for name calling etc. are you still in the primary school playground? Grow up and accept that your opinions may not be universally shared.

ALGW and tiddlers like it definitely need the day traders to give some liquidity, I just don't have the courage :)

If you flipped 2 million shares, buying at 1.78 and selling at 1.97, you'd make £3800. If you found yourself with no shares on the morning the RNS announcing the RCF dropped you'd miss out on making over £40k on those 2 million shares. This is why I don't have the courage to day trade :)

So at the last count roughly £51k worth of shares have been sold so far today. Surely it is obvious to everyone that in the next days/weeks the RCF will be announced and the share price will double. So some people today have just thrown away over £50k for the sake of being patient for a few days/weeks. It beggars belief.

The JV and other theories. These are theories based on nothing more than the fact that JS has a link to Blackstone and that ALGW's registered address has changed which is probably just because GS got a cheaper deal from whomever runs the Reg.Address service in Berkeley Square.
Price manipulation and shady characters. Be serious. Without worrying too much about exact numbers and whether some sells have been reported as buys or vice versa the total value bought is about £28k and sold about £51k. FFS I've traded more than that in a day and Blackstone have got just a bit more cash available than I have.

Oh, and Jonathan Grey is London based, bullish about Brexit though is sure it will be a bumpy ride and considers the FTSE to be up to 50% undervalued compared to the Dow Jones.

He didn't mention Life settlements per se but Blackstone are certainly always on the lookout for profitable emerging sector opportunities. Potentially on the downside Blackstone are absolutely enormous and could buy ALGW with what they consider petty cash. AGM resolution 8 may have been proposed (and passed) in case a significant shareholder tells GS that they are tempted to sell out to Blackstone at a price well below what GS thinks they should. My opinion: Don't sell your shares cheaply - target 30p minimum.

A word of caution. The title of this thread shouldn't use the word 'intel' because, apart from the fact that JS has long time links to Blackstone, the rest is, at the moment 'speculation'. I'm not saying that the theories aren't true but they are just speculation.

I may be wrong (and it wouldn't be the first time) but I'm not convinced that there will be a JV with Blackstone (if they turn out to be the lender). GS has told me that the costs of the RCF will be capitalised into the bonds issued by BOAGF so there is no cost to ALGW and the risk to the lender is very short term being the time it takes for the bought Life policies to be bundled into bonds and sold to investors. Also GS has said that ALGW should break-even this year. At the AGM he confirmed that due to ALGW having a financial year that ends at the end of August but that the BOAGF, and it's fee payments, run on the calendar year break-even MIGHT not be until the end of this calendar year. He also stated that ALGW probably ONLY need $75-100 million AUM in order to break-even. So it sounds as if he is only expecting AUM at the end of 2020 to be about $100 million. If Blackstone (or whomever) were to get involved as partners and invest the way I would expect a partner to invest they could buy $1 billion in BOAGF bonds and hardly notice it. (They have over $500 billion under management.)

At exactly the half way point of the bid/ask it could be a buy or a sell.

Let's not get too excited about the change of registered address, it's just a postal address where a specialist company manages the post for other companies. There were 66 at the old address and 146 at the new one. ALGW don't have actual physical offices anywhere as far as I know as GS is certainly one for keeping costs down.

Olderandwiser: First move advantage. I asked that very question of GS after the AGM. He said that there are already plenty of people offering funds that have a Life Policies component but that ALGW's main selling point is that the set up with a Cayman Island fund makes investing in the BOAGF cheaper for American tax payers. He didn't seem overly worried that there would be copycats.

Not many CEO's would bother.

However DS has said he hopes that ALGW will have a market cap of $100 million in a couple of years time, that's £77 million. GS says he doesn't need to issue more shares to pay costs and that he would only issue more if it was to acquire something of good value to ALGW. £77 million market cap with say 205 million shares equates to an sp of 37p. BTW don't for Gods sake buy shares in ALGW based on this as it's pie in the sky atm.
