Much to old to be basing anything on m8. I understand that Acquam are long gone and GS also owns about another 6 million shares via Alpha Longevity (Ireland).

@bots: Not a p&d. Posted after most had left LSE for the night, pulled before most got up again. The sp moved up about 0.1p on the day and the churn was negligible.

European Leaders are already saying that they expect Covid-19 vaccine to be supplied by Big Pharma cheaply. They haven't said 'not for profit' but it's looking as if that's what they'd like.

@O&W: This is my only share which is worth commenting on as the others are all FTSE 100 which are finally looking as if they might recover by the end of the year, no travel or hospitality stocks thankfully. ALGW is not an AIM stock btw and indeed after many years of hard and expensive lessons learnt from AIM stocks I no longer invest there.

So, someone cold calls you at home and suggests that there is a fortune awaiting you as long as you give them … I hope that by this time you’d have realised it was a scam and hung up.
There are a lot of people out there who are more than happy to rip you off and plenty in here who day/short term trade and some of them are quite prepared to try and manipulate sentiment to suit their current trading position.
Unless you know them personally, you do not have any friends who post on this board.
If you right click on a poster’s name you will be able to see which shares they have commented on in the last 30 days and his/her posting history going back a long way. I suggest that you have a good look at this history as it can be very revealing. A genuine LTH will never make negative posts as it’s not in their interest. If the poster you’re looking at seems to swing from positive to negative then they are a trader. Other people who support their opinions, both positive and negative, are likely part of their team.
You must DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and do it thoroughly. Go to ALGW’s web site, go to the ‘about us’ tag and read GS, DS, JS and AK’s bios. Then, lower down, scroll to the bottom of the RNS list and start reading from the beginning, you can skip Price Monitoring ones. Then go to the ‘Resources’ tab and read the prospectus and the 2019 Annual Report. Have a good think about what you have learned and make up your mind. If you don’t do at least this much research then, quite frankly, you deserve to lose your money though it would be quicker if you just gave out your bank details over the phone.
I have declared via TR-1 that I and my wife have, between us, over 5% of the issued shares in ALGW. Now I could be day trading up to 2 million shares without having to declare anything and you’ll just have to take my word for it that I don’t have the courage and I never have any idea where the sp is going during a single or even a couple of days. I don’t mind admitting that my holding in ALGW is well under water at the moment but even Warren Buffett can’t be sure that he is buying at the bottom and he’s a whole lot better at this than I am. However I remain confident that GS and the team will produce the goods, ALGW's sp will soon be many multiples of what it is now and all the investors will be able to laugh all the way to the bank.

I think this is the calm before the storm. Traders have probably realised that going short just now is unwise. Investors have had 3 months to buy in so everyone is likely to be as long as they feel comfortable with and now we just have to wait. If you're not invested the next few days might well be your last chance at these levels.
My top reasons for investing:
BOAGF = the bread and butter for ALGW, 0.75% of Assets under management plus the performance bonus of 10% of anything over a 7% return on the fund, currently $10 million but $35 million more is apparently booked waiting for the SVP Warehousing facility to be signed off in May. GS has long said that they expect the fund to be at $100 million by year end and this will mean the ALGW break even.
Separate Managed Accounts = the real money spinner. UHNW individuals and Institutional Investors can tailor their own fund which ALGW will manage. Likely a minimum of $75 million per fund. At least one UHNWI is apparently 'on the verge of being announced'.
Both the above are new investment vehicles in a largely untapped sector which is UNCORRELATED to the usual financial markets which, because of the unprecedented turmoil in those markets, even Gold, over the last few months, will become the new 'go to' for safe haven / diversified investment. The funds also offer their investors a benign tax environment based in the Cayman Islands which, as you can imagine, is very important when you're an UHNWI.

All in all a good day. Excellent post by 'he who should no longer be named', 6 million shares traded, more buys than sells, 9% uplift in sp in spite of what the MMs seem to want. Good platform for a stonking good Friday/Monday when the real news is supposed to drop.
