The MM's took £50, my broker took £20 and there was 0.5% stamp duty on each of the £20k switched.

The bottom drawer is better than selling out at a loss when profit is just around the corner. Personally I have no intention of selling a single share for at least a year. During the AGM GS stated that ALGW would break even by the end of 2020 and to do this DS needs to have sorted close to £100 million of assets under management in BOAGF which he was confident of doing. Add to this the Hybrid scheme which, by all accounts, looks to be an even bigger deal though details are sketchy atm and the future is looking good. My belief is that ALGW will be bought out by one of the Asset Management behemoths once the 10% plus uncorrelated returns are proven and DS has stated that his target is a Company Market capitalisation of $100 million by then. At today's shares in issue that would mean an sp of about 40p. Not a bad return for a year or two's investment.

Those at 1.01 are sells but those at 1.04 are buys.

the value of your portfolio on any given day is the value ON PAPER. Assuming that you are not a day trader and have not invested money that you are going to need in the short term - WHICH YOU SHOULD NEVER DO - then you have not lost anything yet. If you sell tomorrow you very probably will lose real actual money but you have time on your side. The Coronavirus / Covid-19 will not last for ever, GS will be able, eventually, to meet with those he needs to to finalise the deals and the sp will move up to reflect the huge potential of ALGW as it becomes clear to everyone and his dog. So, have patience, try not to obsess about your investments, try to appreciate and enjoy the peace and quiet of lockdown and, above all, stay safe so you can enjoy the profits which I am certain ALGW will bring you in time :)

The real sp has been 0.96 to sell and between 1.049 and 1.0575 to buy all morning so LSE quoted sp is wrong, again, and all 6 trades they are showing are buys.

Jason Sutherland, Non-exec Director. I have met him, he's older than Danny, probably in his 60's. He is a Lawyer, he also has had a successful career and is, amongst other things, Senior Counsel for DRB Financial Solutions which is majority owned by the Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Group.
Do you really imagine that these 3 people would associate themselves in any way with a company that they didn't fully expect and believe would be a resounding success?

Less than £9k (827000 shares) of buys and less than £7k of sells (663000 shares). Can't really expect any sp movement on that :)

Steve Schwarzman, chairman and CEO, interviewed on Bloomberg just now, stated that they have $150 BILLION un-invested at the moment and are currently looking for opportunities in the market. ALGW's $100 million is chickenfeed to these guys so no danger of the RCF not happening :)

H&L will know it's ISA contributions from 2019/20 and you will be able to add another £20k this tax year.

It's just that there was an interview on Bloomberg yesterday with a senior oil person who thinks that $20 - $35 will be the 'new norm' market price :(

Just as a matter of interest does anyone know what it costs to get a barrel of oil out of the ground for 88e based on the terms that oil is quoted on the market, FOB or whatever?

@Lulu-72: It is suggested that Acquam were mates of Andrew Denning and, when he was given his marching orders and they no longer had the inside track, sold out. Have you heard anything like that?

@GrahamHoliday: Is that up to date? I hear that Acquam have sold out. Of course if they don't bother with TR-1 I'm not sure how we find out.

On the subject of a UK Director I think this will be sorted when the 'lender' takes a stake in ALGW which will include board representation. A senior figure from Blackstone? would be a good addition to the company's boardroom.

Do you think the Directors should buy? It would show that they believe what they said in the podcast. A literal case of 'putting your money where your mouth is' :) email the Directors, I have.

Someone back in January? was able to get a quarterly list of ALGW shareholders. If whoever that was sees this can you please check on Acquam as there is talk that they have sold up.

If these prices hold until Monday I'll be able to book a tax loss on my trading account and get ALGW shares into my (and my wife's) ISA at a bargain price. Silver lining :)
