I agree the volume is still small. 1.8 million buys (n.b. the first trade of the day was a buy by me though it shows as a sell) and >500k sells. Ophidian might be able to say what the MMs current position is. WE need to look for a day when the volume is at least north of 15 million in total. Bear in mind that the volume on 2nd December 2019 was 68 million.

This is something we all need to be aware of. Isolation and lack of the usual human interaction can result in you behaving, shall we say, a little out of character.
In this difficult time we all need to take care to stay grounded and not let small things get blown out of proportion and become obsessed with minutia.
Try not to spend too much time wondering/worrying about your portfolio as no one knows where the bottom of the market will be but, in time, all will return to normal and the stock market will revisit the highs even if it takes years. I am at least sure that ALGW will prove to be the best investment I ever made.

I'm not surprised the sp didn't advance. Less than 1.4 million shares were traded, about 760,000 buys and 540,000 sells. MM's were already short and now they are just a bit shorter. When the RNS drops and there is a flood of buy orders the sp will have to move smartly north as the MM's don't have stock and I presume you will all hang on for a decent profit. I'm sure we'll see selling at 5p as at that point almost anyone who ever bought will be showing a profit. I intend to hold on for much more, though I will be bed and ISA'ing asap after 6th April.

Once the RCF and BOAGF are up and running there won't be any need for more than quarterly progress reports.

Bid for 100k shares now 1.22, for 250k shares 1.1525. Can't get an offer for 100k but offer for 250k is 1.59.

I'm 66, have worked all my life, we bought our first property, a 1 bed flat in Putney SW15 in 1976, when I married aged 22 - nearly tripled our money on that in 3 years, bought our present house in 1979 -paid off the mortgage 10 years early, have never bought an expensive car. In other words I have not wasted too much money :) Sold ALL my other shares in December/January and bought ALGW. Have closed all cash savings accounts as they now barely pay interest. Mind you if this was to go tits up I'll be in the ****. She still hasn't forgotten Range Resources :p

The 'sell' at 08.18 is my buy.

Be aware that with so many broker/MM staff working from home there are operational difficulties atm. My broker tells me that they are having to telephone for prices as the electronic market isn't really working. Bought 100k @ 1.2 anyway :)
