I'd like to hear In4's opinion, just like I like to hear the others. IMO it may be a small part of the puzzle in place, but its there for all to see. For me this all changes when we get our payment from Chevron.... almost irrespective of whether they find oil or not. I did say almost...

So we have more information to build the foundations on. Now all we have to do is to locate some oil in our patch. Simple really.

I too have a great deal invested here GG, not certain I agree with your overall opinion of In4 though. This is a binary play, we will either get some if not all of our cash back, possibly make some or lose the lot, we are in the hands of the oil gods and Chevrons drilling abilities. I’m not taking sides in your love in, but it does strike me that neither of you are actually reading each others posts and if you are you are not reading them as they were intended. Still, I am the eternal optimist, I personally look forward to the coming months where we are updated on the Uruguayan govts position, Chevrons payment & the other block being snapped up. I’m not ready to write my paper loss here yet…a few months on top of the 10+ years I’ve been here is quite frankly neither here nor there.

Its not the best news I have had today, but like BP stated they have other more probable targets. I'm paraphrasing. I'm sure we are all aligned when discussing CEG, its a flip of a coin & it would be great if the coin gods are on our side for once... we've flips it a few times.

I've been here for a long time, way back to LGO days. It was a punt to begin with, then we had Koot and the merger. The Bahamas was an expensive disaster, but we drilled. Perhaps its was luck, COVID, fairy dust or tea leaves... what ever, but we ended up in a part of the world with some potentially very tasty real estate that some of the largest companies in the Oil world also have stakes in. Our minuscule oil company have signed a deal with a Super Major which is waiting government approval, we have early investor money from a leading oil investment company. Of all the previous times where we almost made it, I believe we are in the best position we have ever been in. Its a binary call still, but the upside is worth the gamble in my humble opinion. Obviously dont invest more than you can afford to lose & if you do, sit down and enjoy the next two years whilst enjoying some of the fiendishly friendly banter on this chat site. Gibbo1066.

I have looked at other deals struck by small exploration companies with super majors and ours does seem to be very well weighted in our favour, well done Eytan. The investment from a well respected early investor also seems to be a reasonable deal, another feather in his cap.

Should we find oil in the south Atlantic on one of our patches, we will all be singing his praises and hopefully toasting them with a vintage Champagne too... now all we have to do is find it. Surely thats the easy part?

Demise of this company? Are you talking about Tullow? Debt reducing, FCF increasing and on target. Market sentiment about TLW has been downtrodden for years, and perhaps rightly so. I believe we will have a new perspective on RD and his achievements from 2025 onwards, he still has my vote.

It’s all about risk and reward John from my perspective. We are de-risking albeit slowly. Our investors are not in the habit of throwing money away, the $1.5m loan will be converted into shares. Chevron have mentioned our agreement in their recent reports. This to me is still very much a binary play and we’ve got 18-24 months before we will see which side of the coin it’s going to land. None of us knows what’s going on, not one single investor or contributor on this site does. We can make educated guesses, based on the information out there, but it is and always will be a place to only invest what you can afford to lose.

GG, it is all about potential and this shares is almost a flip of a coin. However the rewards are, in my humble opinion, worth the exposure ( read... I have no choice in waaay too deep. )

We are going to bump along most likely in a downward trajectory but if you come back when they secure the other patch ( OFF-1 ) sometime later this year, we will jump and it could be spectacular. The daily machinations of the share price are only relevant to the day traders really, the rest of us are waiting patiently for 2025 / 2026 to know if we have finally backed the winning pony. A little humour sometimes goes and awful long way... I do like to drop little nuggets of counter information to see how long it takes for people to catch on. You have no idea how unimportant I am is my personal favourite and has a tendency to make people stop and think, especially if they are angry. As a wise sage once said a few times, nothing on these boards will have the slightest effect on our shares or the business we part own. What a roller coaster ride we have all been on with this share. Personally it has almost been 12 years since my initial and small investment, it certainly isn't anymore as I have bought into all of the previous hype. I'm now sitting on 10m+ shares and from what i have read and digested, we are partnered with a super major on a 60/40 split ( couldnt find any other minnow oiler with those split figures when partnering with a super major ), gained investment from a well renowned early investor in oil discoveries and soon to start drilling in a geologically similar position to where oil has been discovered albeit the other side of the Atlantic. This may still be a binary play, but remember we still have OFF1 to partner out surely reducing those odds further. I own shares here and I want them to succeed. But I am a realist and have only what i can afford to lose ( I may be a little sore ) here. If you are new here and reading this, dont let the petty squabbles and point scoring deter you on this chat. This is a great opportunity to put a little spare money into a small oiler with a terrible track history and make a potentially huge return. Always DYOR.

I've been around since the 10p days and bought as & when finances allow. I believe this company has tremendous potential locked up in a few years of bad decisions and a poor trading environment. The FCF forcast is being exceeded, add in some patience and I believe this will once again be a £ 1+ share within the next two years. DYOR but I'm happy with my investment and average price in the £ 0.20's.

I think you hit the nail on the proverbial head... sentiment. The fundamentals are improving slowly and subject to any more negative external and possible internal pressures, I can see this bumping along the late 20's - early 30's range for this year and having a more northward trajectory from 2025 onwards. Rahul has steadied the ship & is keeping largely to his promises. The daily machinations of the share price are really only for the day traders, I'm in this for the long haul and having bought some of my shares at £ 0.09 as a pure gamble, have a reasonably low average price. Enjoy the ride for 2024...

Whoa, cut the guy some slack, we have all made errors of judgement / bad decisions.. He said he would get a farm out, he has... surely we can stop going back in history and start from today. Now all Chevron has to do is find the oil thats down there... simples.

It wasnt a difficult equation, but we arrived at the same conclusion. It would be nice if it came true, but I just cant see it going that far. Anything over £ 0.05 a share and I'd be happy... £ 0.10 and I would consider retirement...£ 1.00 and I would rival Elon on the rich list... OK that last bit may not be true.
