Gulf of Mexico - close to where we are drilling
Ballers123, I'd be interested in talking to UK manufacturers as I buy thousands of masks. Do you have factory details you can share? Si
Hello Irene,
Potential, backed by cash should equal increase in oil recoveries. Good to see you only mentioned not questioned the 'we found it' statement.
Irene, like 99% of posters on these boards only offer their insight ( when qualified to go so... ie ex oil company execs etc etc. & even then it's only a personal opinion ) Perversely I actually like reading your messages, the overall underlying message of an opposite of opinion or request for evidence does soften some of the more enthusiastic of our share holders. I would value you insight if you were to quote from the only actual evidence we have from our board (s) the RNS's. Show me the opposite of the details quoted in these and perhaps you may add a little more weight to your comments. Otherwise you join the rest of us with an opinion.
Whilst we all have our eyes on the main prize, there are still some worthy mentions to be considered...

Drilling of 'we found it well'
Suriname
CERP may not have had the headline news that P1 will give, but all the ex CERP share holders know only too well the potential our company had given the right circumstances... oh so did our current BOD, hence the merger. Now that should fan a few flames...
Oh and finally... any of the 10p by Christmas people still out there? Lighthearted joke by the way... would be nice though.
Lest we forget, LK now has a large chunk of shares in BPC... love all the speculation, but that is all it is. We will know soon enough what's going on, I'm happy to wait & see if StarChild is right or whether the dark lord Irene has the rebellion on the run. It's all rather exciting quite frankly. Oh, don't forget we will have confirmation of the new Trinidadian tax rates this month... as alluded to in one of CERP's final RNS's...
Its good to see a few familiar names over here on BPC, some of them arrive at the party and we're happy to see them. Some of them we are ecstatic to see them leave... I'm happier to be part of a bigger company and am excited about the possibilities of the new drill. This coupled with the obvious holding back of news from CERP makes for an interesting next few months... I wonder if we will hit 10p by Christmas ( sorry old CERP joke )
I rather like the Bahamas... I may even book a holiday there mid next year... just to look at the drilling platform and what is hopefully a good result for all concerned. See you on BPC.

Oh come on Irene.
Well, my almost 10 year affair with LGO / CERP has come to an end. I am both happy and sad but not in equal measures. I agree with our chairman that being part of a larger group in this era is a good thing. We have unbelievable potential in the SWP, but never had the money to explore it properly and in a timely fashion. Our future lies with the Bahamas, not a bad place to be or live for that matter ( spent a few years there back in the 80's, holidaying in the 2010's ) We will know the outcome of the drill in early 2021... if we hit what they are predicting, we will all have very good returns on our investment. The world will, hopefully, be a slightly less insane place to be by then... I did say hopefully. the King is dead, long live the King.
Brilliant... very funny Starchild, made me laugh in this crazy ramp / de ramp world we currently reside in. I am genuinely excited about the future of our company, lets hope 2021 proves to be as fruitful as we all hope. My holiday to the Bahamas is on hold currently, but if we spud and hit the mother load, I may just reinstate it. The presidential suite on Paradise island is certainly adequate, the One and Only on the same island hits the right notes too! So, Early 2021 it is... until then its all just speculation, and we have a great deal of speculators on this board.
It's a 14 year old post, surely by now they will have automated this?? We are just pawns in this game, I'm just hoping to come out on top.
Every little counts... dont take that the wrong way either, we are all just pawns in this game of chess. I cant imagine LK and team LK didnt know the outcome of this merger before they announced it.
yes for my 3m shares too.
I am waiting for the release of LK’s take on this. I for one don’t think he has sold us up the swanny, but he’s going to have to have some bloody good explanations for why he’s effectively handed the reigns of the 5 year plan to someone else... just as it was starting to get interesting. Mind you if BigMJ is on board, there must be something in the background we don’t know about... Interesting times ahead...
OK, explain why the board have voted to unanimously accept it? They are owners of the stock, they have skin the game. LK is a very experienced Oilman, took on a basket case of a company and has slowly but surely re negotiated the contracts. We have oil in the SWP, we now have a probable bucket load of oil in the Bahamas ( which is where I will go if & hopefully when this all this starts to pay off ). 2022 / 23 is where I see this coming to fruition, earlier will be a bonus. It is and always has been a long term hold. I have also asked BigMJ for his comments, he owns almost 10% of the company...
Phoebus, the assets are still in the company we have shares in, not sure I understand your take on this. We have now have shares in a larger group, the assets haven't suddenly disappeared. I cant imagine that LK and his team are going to join forces with a company where their shares ( deferred salary payments ) are at risk. Also remember we still have the renewed Goudron contract to look forward to this month, more drilling at SWP. New drilling in Suriname... we are still only just over halfway on the 5 year plan. I'm upbeat about this merger.
2.5% dilution to retain cash in this current economic environment, not ideal, but then I dont have all the information to hand that LK has. We either trust his judgement and let him get on with it ( he has 12m shares too ) or get the hell out of Dodge!
I've been labelled a lot of things in my life Irene, Chav is a new one for me. Not certain of your point, but I am invested here and believe its a good long term investment. Whilst I am always happy to see an alternative view, name calling is just a bit puerile. If you have a point to make, go ahead, I'm listening. If you are just looking to create mischief, kindly refrain, its a bit boring.
Oh, in answer to your BigMJ question... whilst he did not elaborate, he did imply he had a few more shares under his control than his last TR1. If you want further clarification, follow him on twitter, he does answer your questions if presented well.
I've been here since the bad old days of Ritson & Co and not sold one share. I bought into the SWP after looking at the map of the region and its lack of onshore development. At some point it really has been a toss of a coin as to whether I would see any of my ( for me ) substantial investment back. Each RNS I read and absorb gives me a little more confidence in the 5 year plan and LK and his team. I try to ignore the daily chatter as thats for day traders who quite possibly have an ulterior motive. The revised ISPC contract will add further substance to the share price which, lets be fair, is depressed by the current global situation, I dont think I could blame even Ritson for that. So, in my humble opinion, we still have 2 years to go of the 5 year plan and I believe the bigger prize is the eventual sale of the assets once we have a more stable environment for Oil and some of the old contracts and agreements have been renegotiated. Its your money, you do what you want with it. For me, I'll be here until I reach my investment goal and then I'll be off into the sunset...hopefully with some bounty under my arm. As always DYOR and take all comments on this and most probably all other boards with a pinch of salt.
