emilyt16, if you look at their 12 potential drill sites from their road map, they have given us a range of potential discoveries from 20m to 400m barrels of oil. Even to lowest target could have a significant upside on the business we have invested in. We are not far away now, I believe we will have the first of the news mid August for these sites... who knows when we will get the M&A news LK spoke about 6 weeks ago. However, Its all about the SWP as I was reminded about on twitter, basically flip a coin and heads or tails... OK, maybe not that drastic, but still its a gamble, just one we all hope is loaded a little in our favour.
I dont believe micro analyzing this share is going to get you anywhere. We are producing oil, covering our costs and have a very good chance of finding some reasonable oil deposits later this year. Even a small low end discovery could double our share price, who knows what a high end discovery would do. I agree the slippage is a little annoying, but I am sure all would be forgiven when ( if ) we strike oil. We've all had to have a great deal of patience, a few more months are not going to hurt any more.
Let’s face it guys, we are all in it for the SWP... Schroders, Bigmj, our board of directors, us minions... sorry private investors, EVERY single one of us. The fact that LK is hedging his bets and looking further a field only adds to my confidence in the man. So all this chaf flying around really is just that, we are all waiting for the wheat and if LK can further underpin that with some wise purchases, I say do it man! I’m almost certain he doesn’t need to be told to keep his eye on the SWP though... roll on Q3 and the first of many drills
Lots of chaff floating around this board. I believe LK and the team are building a great business and am happy to have my money in here. If one of the 12 potentials comes in at the low end of the estimated range, all the LTH's will have plenty to celebrate. It will make us a very attractive business, VERY. Onshore, low cost base, access to the worlds largest hydrocarbon basin. I'm looking forward to the next RNS in April, it will give us some background on the steady production rates, but this isnt the goal or going to transform us, just a means to an end... the first drill if successful even at the low end of the range will...without doubt. We will know in approx 120 days. Nothing I can do except wait a little longer, but hey I've been waiting for almost 5 years now, whats a few days more?
surely MrMagoo31 you mean replenish... to relinquish is to reduce or give up on value!
Yes - CPO-5 could be... dare I say it Transformational?
Interesting Ross... I have a significant amount of shares in both CERP and AMER... it would be great to hit them both, I feel that AMER may be the better bet until CERP's initial drill... Roll on June / July time.
I hope no one revels in anyone's losses, that's just not polite. We have all bought into a company who, in 2017, were on their arse, poorly run and with a number of legal and contractual issues. Fast forward to today. We have acquired 5 additional fields, resolved the contractual issues, increased the BOPD to a steady 900 / 1000. Cleared the decks for some very exciting drilling to commence mid this year. We will be almost half way through the road map created by LK and his team and you will notice the line this map forms is in the shape of a smile. I believe we are at or around the bottom part of this smile now. The share price is low, but the possibilities are obvious. This is still a risky play, but the odds are increasingly in our favour. Based on the RNS's released by the company we are in my opinion on the verge of a very exciting period for our company. We have a BOD who are aligned with us ( they get paid half their salaries in shares remember ) and are lead by an industry veteran with a great track record. I am happy to discuss any RNS released by the company as this is the only information we can accurately rely on, anything else is just , as I have said before, supposition and hearsay. If we hit the bottom end range of just one of those prospects, I can see the value of our company doubling... but thats just my opinion. I'm happy to leave my investment in the hands of an expert, Mr Purple.
great film...
Ross... of course he is going to have to look for more funds, but I really dont see any problem with this. It is virtually impossible to create a multi million pound business without borrowing / partnering to achieve it. I am great deal happier that we now have a recognized industry professional, with a proven track record, at the helm. We have a clearly defined strategy, a dozen targets with some very enticing prospects. If we have to partner up to realise these targets, brilliant. Just look at the deal recently struck with OXY by AMER. If like me you are in for the long haul, the building blocks LK and his team are putting in place will form the foundation of a successful Trinidadian company. It may take another year, perhaps 2, but I am happy to wait this one out to its conclusion. DYOR... good luck with your investments.
I personally have no issue with taking on debt to create a larger company, as long as that debt isnt used to keep the lights on... remember LGO anyone? If we have to dilute to purchase undervalued or underutilized assets, I'm all for it. If we are asked to dip into our pockets to fund these assets and the business case is apparent, why the hell not? I am impressed by LK and what he has changed over the past 18 months.I strongly believe we are now in the growth phase of the business. The question I ask is what did I have in May 2017 before LK joined? In truth, not a great deal. What do I have in January 2019? Well, I stand a better chance to get at least some of my money back and if the SWP proves to be anywhere near as good as we all hope, I may just make a few pounds. I can only rely on the RNS's for information, the rest of the text written about CERP on this board by shareholders and non shareholders that states anything that isnt quoted by the company is pure speculation and conjecture. Roll on mid 2019, not only for the summer, but also some exciting news about our company. Remember, it is in the vested interests of our board of directors to make this work. All in my honest opinion. DYOR
1,777,000 for me...
Looking good to me, yes there are a few issues, but I would rather be here, now, than I would going back to pre LK days when it looked like I had lost just about all my money.
Just incase anyone wants to refresh their knowledge of the CERP road map...

Good sound RNS, meeting expectations as originally laid out in the original Road Map. Good Job LK & Team, keep it up.
Are we going to get an early 2019 pressie from our beloved leader? Have we hit the magic 1000? If so are we regularly hitting it? Is project Green a goer? SWP, what can I say about you? Are you going to release some of your hidden treasure... you are in the Caribbean and pirates hid the stuff all over the place ( a little bit of leeway on that one please) What ever happens, I wish all a fabulous and prosperous New Year.
thanks Ross... whilst I am not happy being underwater on this share, it has been, since May 2017, about the 5 year plan... so daily / weekly / monthly variations are annoying, but do not affect my primary goal. Good luck
Come on Irene... I know thats twice I've used that beginning to a reply. I dont believe I or anyone else has stated production rates from these 12 wells. I have just used the company literature to underpin my thoughts on CERP and 2019. We have identified 12 sites where we can drill and the estimates from the company literature state between 20 & 400m barrels of oil per site. Even if its the low end and we can only economically recover 20% of the oil, this would over double the value of our company in terms of assets. To me, that's transformational, I cant even think of a word that accurately describes the high end discovery! Join in the fun, its Christmas... look at the information put out by the company, look at what we have achieved since May 2017 and what prospects we have for 2019 and let me know how you would describe CERP's prospects. Be honest now... these are just the prospects and nothing else.
Ross, I have a reasonably low BEP on these shares... still underwater at these prices though. 2019 is shaping up to be a truly transformational year for CERP and I am going to hang around until I get a good return on my investment. Anything above £ 0.09 per share and I will have achieved a considerable amount more than I would have if I had stuck it into a savings account. As I dont need the money at the moment, I can wait a bit more until this share comes good as some of the indicators are showing it will.
