too late Rossannan... legacy of LGO days and got a bit carried away. Its not quite the farm, but its enough to go OUCH if it doesnt work out. Still I have a low breakeven point and an early teens exit strategy, leaving enough to make a difference if we do go onto become a £0.5b company. We will all know roughly where we are heading by the end of this year.
Interestingly they have been at pains to convey the non-dilutive or acceative value of the deals they are looking to do. Whilst I dont like the dips below 5p, I am buying more to lower my average and aiming to get into the top 10 on shareholders list, I am not concerned and am looking forward to July's update. As long as we are adding to our BOPD, even at a slow rate, the oil price is almost 50% above the CF+ with all the work costs factored in for this year, we must be heading for $ 15m turnover. Even if we end up with the lower end of the forecast given by Mr Purple, we are in a tremendous position when compared to the debacle of 2015 / 16 and early 17. Remember we are 1 year into the 5 year plan and as far as I can see all is going according to that plan. DYOR
Hello Gary / Garnet and anyone else who has asked for email correspondence. I had a long chat to a person on influence at CRND last week and I have chosen not to share our emails for my own security. I can however give you a brief outline of how I see our position. Concentrator up and running. A number of major issues with the cabling etc, but it is working and they are producing Gold with it.We will have a better understanding of how efficient it is in 2 / 3 months. We are still running at a loss, but this will be overturned as soon as the Concentrator is running at full speed, however we now have a few external hurdles to overcome. Sourcing good quality Tailings over and above the current load. Resolving supplier disputes / payments Resolving PUNO - still a thorn in our sides Resolving waste material issues We are not out of the woods, we still have a long way to go, but if we can catch a bit of good fortune, we may yet see a return on our investment, but not for a few years. I have put my shares in the bottom drawer, but will continue my correspondence with CRND and am happy to update anyone who wants to read my comments on here. We are all free to make contact with CRND, all the details of how to do this are on their website. They are my personal comments and do not constitute any indirect correspondence from CRND. Cheers Simon
Not long now until we will find out if we have lost all the money we put into CRND or if there is a glimmer of hope and we may see some if not all of it returned... obviously depending upon your price entry point.
I've been talking via email to one of the people in the middle of this mess, happy to send copies to anyone interested individually, I wont put it all on here.
copy and paste the whole link...
Sorry 17 games on the trot...
Didnt the England Rugby bag man get sacked for offering this share in its previous form? Maybe we should put them down for a nominal 1 share? Disastrous 2015 RWC...Still they went on to have a run of 22 games unbeaten, lets not mention the last 6 nations though. WTI... $70.50 Tuesday could be interesting...
Winston, youre on your own with that, Still I hope it works out for you.
HiggyP, this hasnt been my crowning glory, but I am not prepared to roll over in just yet. I am doing the reasearch I should have done at the beginning, following any lead, comment, whisper I can. It isnt pretty, even the Chinese think this is a bag of poo at the moment. There are a number of hurdles still to overcome and it all hinges on the concentrator unit. If this works, we may may just come out with our dignity in tact, if not were all screwed. So, Im going to hang in there, keep pushing for info and hopefully by July we will have definitive news. One of will be right.... I just hope its me.
Looks like we are now in the critical part of the process, it all hinges on the amount of Gold we can extract using the concentrator unit ( sorry for stating the obvious ) 8 - 10 weeks and we will know if our investment has any value and what that value is. Miners of comparable size are valued at between $40 - $100m, I'd be happy with the lower amount as a starting amount...
or rather I was on the podium... BigDouble comes in with a cracking quantity. Looks like a few of us saw the potential in this company right at the beginning, I certainly didnt have enough foresight. Still, happy to be here and will remain so for at least a couple of years.
A significant holding amoungst us PI's, albeit slightly skewed by Big Mj... glad to see I'm in the mix for a podium finish.

small price movements will return you substantial amounts BigMj, I only regret not doubling my hold when I first saw Mr Purple... still I believe he will return a significant amount on my investment, it wont be lottery figures, but I certainly wont complain.
We did this back in the LGO days.. 1.3m for me, but buy costs a good deal higher than todays price!!.
or $7.2 million per year... enough to fund 2 / 3 wells... out of cash flow.
Interesting take on the investor showcase presentation. I am however at pains to understand your overall approach. From my point of view Mr Purple has done what he said to date and listening to him give the presentation, I dont see that opinion changing anytime soon. We are running at +600 BOPD and are CF+... a considerable way ahead of last May. We have a renegotiated BOLT deal and had closure of the Spain conundrum. Opened up the SWP for some serious land based ( relatively inexpensive ) exploration and a have a large deal loitering in the background. OK, there many be some renewed financing needed, but Mr Purple has stated that it will all be accreative - ie not diluting the share value, but equalling or adding to it. So, looking at the opposite side of this coin we have invested in... I'm happy to put m hard earned money on the BOOM... oh and so are Schroders who hold almost 14% of the company.
ha ha ha - yes that is a bit pedantic, still even at 9.23% the increase is significant IMHO. I like Mr Purples approach to CERP, long may it continue. The SWP is so close to the Venezuela basin, I am suprised that it has taken this long for someone to realise they are sitting ontop of a vast quantity of oil in Trinidad. I'm looking forward to the next 2 - 3 years.
