Be thankful this is consolidating on the way up leaving no gaps, strong support is being built once £3 is broken in the coming days weeks it's likely to be a solid base.

How times change AZN will have to pay a lot more now.

Agreed this has been solid since the 500% surge. A few pull backs for consolidation but trading strongly above £2 it's lovely to watch.

AZN licensed for Asthma at 250mil they subsequently walked away from the deal. Looks like they will regret that decision now.

It’s worth noting that those comments have been made without reviewing the data.

Once the data is in the hands of the community more factual peer reviews will arrive.

Until then these are just opinions being expressed.

The Ordinal scale is being used as the measure for the trial as instructed by the WHO. It’s my understanding that you can analyse the data in many ways using this scale and at the time of holding the press conference SNG had had 2 analysis done on the data.

Last week will have been spent analysing the data in more ways.

To satisfy that the primary endpoints of the trial has been met I think they have to get regulatory approval that the analysis is appropriate whichever analysis methods they present.

Deal3r - Agreed we should be objective. SNG is very promising indeed but until an RNS lands or we get mentioned specifically by name all we can do is speculate.

Hats off to the board for delivering to such a tight timescale many trials are still trying to fill their numbers.

Migsmc- Compile a list of what you would classify as major pharmaceutical companies.

Then work out which ones are involved in vaccines for covid.

I think you will find there will still be many firms on that list.

Then ask the question would one of the super majors risk a competitor getting the jump in them because they where too stubborn to concede.

My opinion is there will be many companies interested this is the opinion of RM too.

If the drug is as good as they say what is clear is that manufacturing needs to ramp up and fast to supply the globe.

As much as I’d like a takeover I could see several licensing deals being struck with multiple large players.

The company is not naive that they can go it alone and I bet the majors are not naive that they can supply the global demand.

I just hope the Africa and the like do not get forgotten in the rush to supply USA/ Europe.

Steadyman - If they genuinely believe the infection rates are just going to continue declining into the winter (great news for everyone) you could ask them how they feel about AVCT having failed to deliver on their Grand Covid Test plans since there would no longer be a market for it.

I’m sure they would then concede that the virus is prevalent globally and Covid treatments would be in huge demand.

As for SNG vs the Steriod. They are targeting different stages of the infection cycle.

SNG early onsite through to early hospitalisation on 02 etc.

The steriod was shown to work when on ventilation but had no effect earlier.

So very different and I’ll let you work out which is the bigger market.

Pointscorer - I very much doubt it the FTSE brings with it an admin burden that SNG could do without.

Plenty more funds are now eligible to invest in SNG since they are over 100m mcap.

It seems we are attracting hundreds of posts a day well above the normal average here which is wonderful and to be expected given the gravity of last weeks news.

This board was always a place where views could be expressed challenged and debated we worked quite hard to make it an inclusive place, despite not always seeing eye to eye.

Investors old and new can we please make a conscious effort to be civil with each other. A polite rebuff of baseless nonsense often works better than a swift aggressive knock down.

Don’t forget the at Home trial whilst targeting people earlier in the infection cycle is also targeting high risk individuals.

65+ or 50+ if in an at risk category.

If there was safety concerns they would not be allowed to target such people.

Personally I see AVCT for what it’s is, the reason they released 3 or 4 RNS’s in a row is that they where pumping the price to achieve the massive placing they did.

Which is great for them as scientists because they have funded several years of cancer research.

I very much doubt we will see them get the covid test to the market in time.

Regarding GDR it would be lovely if they released a bit more news but frankly as long as they are working on the right things the right news will come. I hold several companies where news is sparse but the news is often good.

If GDR can crack a few markets and get a few orders that would be a good result.

By the way my attempt to procure a small amount of tests got rebuffed I did not satisfy the minimum order requirements and they are currently engaged with many opportunities was the gist of the response.

Just catching up on today’s news I like the sound of this quote in the guardian article

Price is ballpark and i'm hoping the distillery will agree to push some of the profits on each bottle to an NHS charity linked to Southampton Hospital.

And to be above board I will be receiving no kick back from this i'm hoping with the right numbers I can persuade the distillery to cover the cost of branding and either create a custom Gin or re-brand on a limited run one of their existing Gins.

That’s the one the 2013 vintage won a few awards. I came across it in an Argentinian steak restaurant in Spain.

Thoroughly enjoyed it always have a case in the house it’s very drinkable.
