graking - The Hospital trial was exactly as it's named a trial for those people hospitalised with Covid 19. The younger cohort most likely to get over the virus anyway are also most likely to have not required hospitalisation.

The biggest indicator that it worked in the aging population and is safe is the fact that the At Home trial is directly targeted at 65+ or 50+ in an at risk group.

No stronger signal that it works and is safe in those age groups than those entry requirements. The MRHA would not have signed off on the trial if there had been concerns.

Without Covid COPD trial would have completed and we would probably be looking at funding Extended Phase3 trials for COPD for this virus season maybe running across several virus seasons to get numbers.

Instead Covid happened and we have now delivered the drug into double the amount of lungs, we are in a strong position for approvals heading into another virus season.

I think the significance of this latest RNS is lost on some.

The Fact the drug works with Oral steroids is a huge plus, FARNS traukamine failed its trial due to the fact some patients had been on steroids.
