Bluemoon - I remember those crazy days. My first share purchase was DES and remember logging in from a hostel in turkey to watch the RKH meteoric rise only for the dial up connection to fail which ironically saved me from selling out far too early.

Org - I think it comes back to how you view SNG001 in a broader sense.

I view it as a drug that will be used to fight a plethora of viral infections many of which we know about and many of which have yet to surface.

I think it will have a very strong recurring revenue stream, Covid has highlighted the need for such a drug and has accelerated it’s clinical program.

SNG001 will have many uses after covid if there is indeed an after covid era.

Org - I’m sorry but you’ve literally phrased a question asking if these negative things happen will there be a negative reaction in the SP.

I think you can make that judgement call.

“ Over the next 6-12 months the Company intends to pursue the development of SNG001 as a therapy for COVID-19 through further clinical trial activity and upscaling of manufacturing and supply arrangements. To the extent that such activities are in addition to the Company's current commitments they will require financing. The Directors will investigate all potential sources of finance, including but not limited to, new equity, and remain confident that funding will be available prior to entering into further commitments.”

All commitments to date are fully funded for 12months.

So funding will only be required if we need to ramp up massively which obviously will be a very good thing indeed.

Funding comes in many forms.

MAP is likely to generate some revenue too.

Scinv - I’m not sure what you’ve been reading or listening to from RM.

But he has always been clear concise and to the point.

He literally signposted the spectacular results to Pi’s in advance of releasing them.

The only confusion here has been caused by message boards like this setting their own unrealistic expectations.

Lots more news to come and I’m confident SNG will be in patients lungs this side of Christmas, with production runs of the drug ramping up in the new year.

I managed a few at 1.40 too, painful to see this drop but that’s market sentiment for you.

Everyone has opinions they are not always correct. Also people’s decisions are made with different time frames in mind.

I’m confident of the long term outlook here so I’m happy to accumulate, my daughter now has a chunk of these in her s&s ISA courtesy of today’s weakness.

Ironically I’m also going to purchase her some speculative IAG shares before the end of the year.

The biggest thing for me about today’s news is that the company are serious about getting the drug into the patients that need it. MAP is a tool to do the right thing this virus season, the value that licensing or takeover will bring can come next year for all I care as long as patients in need have the ability to access SNG001 this year.

Scinv - You have presented zero facts just opinions.

How do you define “Very Small” SNG’s Hospital trial is not the smallest Covid Trial underway at the moment. They have additional data from COPD Asthma etc.

The only people that can decide if the trial is very small, or actually fine are the regulatory authorities so perhaps wait and see what they say.

If it was a clear cut the trial is too small we would have stopped wasting time and expanded the trial and released an RNS to say this was the case we would have been obliged to.

As it stands we are still in discussions which implies the regulators like what we have and are working with us to come to a solution.

Things take time when they are done properly.

Antonios - If you feel like that then I suggest you sell up and walk away you will feel better for it.

Org - I expect the half year report will include a few forward looking statements.

Any significant news would warrant a separate RNS.

I’m hopeful we will receive news ref progress on approvals before the months end.

The IFN story is building globally which is good.

An approval or licensing deal and this pops instantly.

Just to clear a few things up ACCORD was talked about a fair bit on this board in June.

Off the back of the excellent work Tom Wilkinson and Synairgen had done turning around a randomised trial protocol for SNG001, the government launched the ACCORD trial with Tom Wilkinson and Southampton at the helm.

At the time whilst disappointed SNG was not included in the trial, but we rationalised here that joining ACCORD would set us back several months and time to readout would be extended.

On reflection this was exactly right we delivered results in July whereas ACCORD appears to be shelved.

Some people view the lack of obvious government support as concerning.

Personally I think Synairgen have chosen to keep them at arms length until they add benefit. Getting them involved too early on in the process would add delay.

Chrishar - I think the issue is of the 140000 cases how many:

-are over 65
-are in a high risk group and over 50
-have a positive test result within the 3day window since symptomatic

The trial has been designed this way on purpose but will take time to fill.
