Off topic but do you have any ide if Direct to PCR will require a separate submission to CE, FDA, WHO or since it is likely to be a reconfiguration of the current test they could somehow slide it in as a revision?

Hi VanV - Always a fan of your posts wasn't meant as a knock to this share. The diagnostics market is huge and direct to PCR is the right direction for the company to be heading.

I think the analogy is the wrong choice everyone is entitled to an opinion but not obviously on this board.

I get the point you are making Primer Design, Gold Standard, Accurate, Sensitive etc

But surely X-Ray is only still used because it is cheep and widely available? Which as I understand it the Primer Design test is expensive and in short supply.

The AVCT test is more likely to fit the cheep and easy to get hold of scenario if it gets through the obvious hurdles ahead of it. It is however unlikely to match the accuracy of the PCR.

The way I see it plenty of room for 10's of companies supplying millions of tests /month. You wouldn't want all your testing eggs in one basket with the global shortage of chemicals causing havoc.

Shipping swabs to America to be processed is madness, I assume they where primer tests with no reagents in the labs here.

I've got a URL tracker monitoring the Major Shareholders section of Synairgens Website they update the figures so promptly i'm wondering whether the website jumps the gun of the RNS release.

The amount you bag on a share does not determine if you are a LTH. I was in at 26 out at 170 in a month on this one. I was happy with my lot and didn't want to get greedy.

170 came before the placing debacle.

LTH will still do well here but nothing wrong with a bit of reflection from time to time the advice being shared on this bb the day the placing was announced perhaps was biased towards those that had already got in with a low average.

Most long term holders called the share price movements wrong here.

There has been plenty of time to sell, apply for placing shares, await results of allocation and buy back in at a lower value.

To all those who took stock at the placing news and rightly sat on the sidelines waiting for the dust to settle well done you got some heat for doing so but you have been proved right.

Expect some unusual or sluggish trading patterns for the next few weeks as the placing unfolds. This share will start moving again at some point and all will be forgotten.

Nolupus - I know you like to be non comital in your posts but do you see a link between the COPD trial and the COVID-19 trial.

The manufacturing capacity of NCYT is fully priced in here. They could release an RNS tomorrow saying they have a new order for 16million tests it would not move the share price. This is valued at producing and selling 8mil test per month.

Things that will move the share price:

Manufacturing Output Increase
Release of New Direct PCR Test
Product Margin Announcement (interesting that GDR can give an indication on profit margin but NCYT have declined to do so)

Nolupus - I agree it's usually a bad sign but these are odd times. The fact the share price is holding up suggests there is appetite somewhere for the stock.

Correction a couple more popped through after cross referencing my Level 2 with London Stock Exchange I make it 470,935 delayed from Thursday.

I applied for a sensible amount on my account and a ludicrous amount under my wifes name lets see what happens in the morning.

CW25 - As requested 434,903 of trades showing up today as delayed trades from Thursday.

After an excellent long weekend of posting the board today is worse than usual :(

ShareSting - When do you think they crossed? I have them at close to 10% Thursday morning so 2 trading days would be TR1 Wednesday? Or maybe a Tuesday.
