I use ADVFN for my level 2 data. When we where getting the large amount of trades appearing 24hours delayed they would be counted as volume on the day reported rather than the day they traded.

A quick check on the London stock exchange website verified they where reported a day late as on there it seems 24hours delayed trades are not counted on the day they are reported.

I’d not really noticed this before on a share.

I don’t use LSE for trades but it’s likely that the missing volume is under the ? column.

Buy and Sell volume is not exactly accurate, it’s a simple algorithm which looks at the current spread and if the trade is above mid it’s a buy, below mid it’s a sale.

Often trades over a specific value are delayed by an hour or more so the price gets compared against the current spread not the spread at the time so can get miss reported.

Equally trades that go through bang on mid usually get put in a ? Column.

So I wouldn’t rely on buy and sell volumes.

ShareSting has already proved he's better at tracking TR1 arrivals than I am even if we both thought it would be closer to the 10% holding.

notnow20 - I understand that and I think the other party plays on that a bit too, sometimes it's best just to let some things slide. Initially I reacted similarly to you then I engaged on another level and actually I learnt a thing or two.

This is what annoys me a little bit everyone has been so busy bashing Nolupus but if you had read the research he posted yesterday you would be aware of this information.

I think the Mirror article is sloppy journalism when they type IFN 2b they actually mean IFN a2b? Correct me if i'm wrong.

I strongly suspect Dr Fish has links to the AntiCovir drug being developed (Canada based) but I can't find proof.

I did some digging yesterday and our formulation is in theory better than IFN a2b but the trial data will tell us that.

Someone mentioned funding earlier that will be a non issue on successful trial data I expect plans are already in place.

Finding that article really difficult to follow one minute it's talking about IFN-2b then right at the concludes alpha would further the research. I guess any talk about IFN's is better than no talk.

Some nice evidence here that leans towards Synairgens formulation.

ShearClass - I'd agree with that logic and for them to realise £8mil would take time hence once the timing here became more defined they saw their opportunity to begin the exit.

Warrenbe - The companies style is to be conservative which I like. The data will come as quick as the trial permits so personally I think the second half of June is all in play.

The RNS says June this was then followed up by the Panorama video's that suggested end of June.

I think it's safe to assume as we draw closer to the Results RNS window speculative money with flow into this.

Late to the party you pay more.

I'm looking forward to the Last Patient, Last Visit RNS that starts the timer ticking. There's only so fast you can dose patients but once all that data has been collected you can, if inclined work round the clock and I think everyone involved will be super excited to understand what they have.

Just to clarify a few points which perhaps people have taken in the wrong context:

Regarding the cross ramp it was not me that raised this subject title and if you read my comment I emphasized how Synairgen are years ahead of the company mentioned.

In response to several comments about other trials at similar stages to SNG I made reference to a trial involving inhaled IFN slightly different formulation but this had passed phase 2 and was entering phase 3 and had a licensing deal. The takeaway from this comment was that our Formulation has been shown to be more effective than the other formulation so this news bodes very well for the success of our trial. Yesterday I posted the research document that backs up this statement.

Finally I think whilst people object to Nolupus's overly negative/pessimistic posting style I would suggest you be more open minded if you cannot answer some of the questions being raised perhaps dig a little deeper so that you can answer them. I have only sought to temper/challenge some of Nolupus's views.

I agree with them on some points disagree on others, I am very much invested here and I choose to believe they are invested here too.

I will leave you to make up your own mind.

ShareSting - I've always valued the contribution you have made to the board but lately you've been acting a bit like a child throwing their toys out the pram because the share price is not moving as quickly as they want it too. Please take a step back to posting the really useful information that you have been for a while now, I believe in this company I know you do too and I know a lot here value your opinion.

Nolupus - Thanks for the link. I would view success in the solidarity trial for IFN as a combination drug as a very good thing for us. IV whilst suitable in a hospital setting would not be suitable at home.

There's always the argument that direct to lung could require a smaller dosage. I wouldn't rule out SNG001 as a combination drug with lopinavir/ritonavir for hospitalised patients.

And SNG001 as a standalone early preventative drug.

All IMO of course.

But yes we should always have our eyes and ears open to protect our investment.

ChrisToffer - Check out AntiCovir by Altum Pharma they just release phase 2 trial data and are moving to phase 3/ have a licensing agreement in place. Its an inhaled formulation of IFNa2.

I spoke to a pharmacologist friend of mine (who works with interferons) yesterday regarding the two formulations. Their response was very positive ref Synairgen.

A few snippets of the conversation.

"I've attached a paper that describes how IFNb1 is probably a better approach than IFNa2. Some studies show it's more potent and has better outcomes in the lungs"

"I could dive deeper into the specific differences, but generally I would say that you should expect good results from the Synairgen trial. And they include a placebo arm so you've actually got something to compare it against (unlike anticovir!)"

Livelong - I Agree AVCT is one for the bottom drawer come back in a year or two and what they have could be revolutionary.

SNG is very much the here and now.

Phoenix - we would be a great fit for CARE but as of yet there is no confirmed list. What I would say is we would not necessarily have to be part of the CARE consortium to be included on the CARE trials.

"The goal of the CARE project is to deliver treatments for the current COVID outbreak as well as future coronavirus outbreaks. To do this, they will identify candidates among existing drugs that could be effective as treatments for the COVID-19 pandemic (drug repurposing), and develop new drugs specially designed to tackle the SARS-CoV-2 virus. After extensive testing in the laboratory, the project will advance the most promising drug candidates to clinical trials in humans."

It's a great list but the target of the DRAGON project is:

"The DRAGON project will apply artificial intelligence and machine learning to deliver a decision support system for improved and more rapid diagnosis and prognosis. Citizens and patients will be involved in the development of the system."

I'm not sure what we bring to the table here other than data sets.

Obviously rapid diagnosis would mean we could administer our treatment early which is where we see our major benefit.
