try2buylow - The sign I take that they are still offloading is we are still seeing trades delayed by 24hours appearing at about 5pm each night.

These started before they released their first TR1 and have not stopped since. There will be more tonight hopefully they stop at 10%.

Hi Nolupus - of those 1200 Odd Covid research activities.

What is the split on, Vaccine, Treatment, other work surrounding Covid.

Once you have the number for how many are looking at treatments, how many are for drugs in the phase 2 clinical trial that’s double blind with placebo.

Then finally how many will have results in June?

Suggest others do the maths too but my bet is it is single figures.

Waynesmith - If they held of selling the share price wouldn't be 15% down. II's will always cause waves when they buy into and sell out of positions.

They've been afforded this opportunity due to the increased liquidity leading up to trial results. A 15% drop is actually pretty good going considering Griffiths selling Out, Lansdowne reducing and the rest of eth placing shares being churned.

No TR1's for a new buyer which is interesting! That's a significant % of the company put into the market surely the PI has not absorbed it all.

Must remember in the future to divide by 2 the volume to account for sells and buys.

I counted 6,543,100 in volume in that period and Lansdowne shifted 3,257,649 shares almost bang on.

dactions - I wonder how Primary Bid goes down within the city? IMO there is very much an old boys club feel about it, I expect they don't care it picking up the scraps that they don't want but would fight it tooth and nail to prevent it getting in on these lucrative raises that are heavily oversubscribed.

The company would have acted on advice from the nomad and broker, the conversation probably went along the lines of:

CEO. There's a great opportunity here for the drug but we need cash to run the trials
Broker. How much do you need?
CEO. £14mil
Broker. *Phones a few regulars on the books* If the price is X not a problem we can have the money twice over.
Nomad. Yes price is reasonable to the current market price and we need to move fast

If the broker had said sorry no interest that's when the PI might get a shout either rights issue or Primary Bid might come into play.

So whilst as you say Primary Bid would have achieved the same end result in a similar timeframe. It's like asking a pack of Hyenas to share their kill.

Blustington - Do some more research in the company and you will learn there is convertible loan stock in play.

Historically company statements have been released at 7am so fingers crossed for the morning.

barnetpeter - best post I've read for ages. I 8 bagged here from 26p in under a month crazy, sold out my capital + most of my holding at £1.70 w which was way off the peak but who cares. Greed is what looses people money.

technick - Unless there is a specific lock in clause they will be free to sell them. Prime example SNG 40mil shares in placing at 35p getting sold off immediately in the range 60-70p. Easy money.

Just load up a few hours earlier.

IMO opinion if they released the RNS in the order you propose we would have seen a lower high.

Which would have prevented some getting spiked but also limited the gains some made.

Long term investors have not lost out.

Smart/Lucky Traders have benefited.

Inexperienced Traders have lost out but that's a lesson in trading you can't always win best to avoid it.
