Who do you deal with? I got my Bed & ISA out of the way last week with the share centre.

They actually bought my new shares before they sold the old, I lost out 400shares which was the 2.9% spread at the time.

On reflection I could have perhaps timed it better if I traded myself, but it would have cost me twice the dealing fee's and I bet they would have taken a few days to transfer cash between my accounts.

Well done to all those that held the past few weeks whilst in the red i'm sure your portfolio looks a lot healthier today.

The news exposure will provide Lansdowne with some increased volume to sell into. Hopefully the share price won’t get a kicking again tomorrow, it would be nice to have a blue day.

Does anyone else find it odd that the SynairgenPLC account has not tweeted since 2018?

I wasn't trying to compare one company to another more musing how you could as a company make a calculated decision on how you launch the drug.

Synairgen obviously are not going to bring this to market the size of the company that they are. If I was the major that had licensed or bought the drug my first move would be to get it into every hospital trust in the NHS at cost for at least a period of time.

Seeding the future market. Breeding familiarity of the drug with GP's and Patients making it a house hold name for the future.

Beyond Covid-19 COPD could be a huge market for this drug there are however other effective drugs at the phase 2/3 trial stage for COPD the right move during the pandemic could steal the market.

Anyway these are all just pointless thoughts normally saved for pub discussions but alas there is no investor pub club currently.

Colber - just speculating here. I can’t see SNG giving it away for free but say AZN acquires the drug what better way of making it a household name.

The Gillead move is a pure marketing stunt IMO.

As people have already posted it’s always worth understanding the risks associated with an investment.

One risk is that SNG proves to be successful in treating Covid -19 and is then rolled out on a not for profit basis.

Gillead donating their entire stock to the US government speaks volumes to me, not because I think they are generous souls for doing so rather that it must be worth their while to make that gesture.

If SNG was released not for profit this would solve my personal moral dilemma of profiteering from this crisis.

If SNG is a successful treatment it is likely that it will be a blockbuster drug used for all kinds of related viral infections and will have a very long and fruitful patented life in the hands of a large major pharmaceutical.

Some goodwill during this pandemic might help accelerate it through validation, I personally would be thrilled to be part of that.

Both Abbot and Roche now have approved antibody tests both I believe are lab based test.

The success of these tests should benefit ODX since the negativity towards antibody test reliability will be fought out by the big boys the benefits of these tests will be seen by countries and then ODX will come along with the POC version which will solve the practicality issues for mass testing that the lab tests will face.

It’s the same story with the antigen testing PCR has proved useful but once POC is cracked it will provide huge benefit.

Off topic but on ADVFN on nobbies thread he claims to have received confirmation from a Richard that the 120 patients on the at home trial is part of the extra 300 listed in the clinical trial register rather than in addition to.

We know we are 75% recruited now on the hospital trial but confirmation from UHB that they have recruited 15 patients.

Chrishar - Please do not make investment decisions based on what people write on boards.

As much as I try to post objectively I am still compromised here because I am heavily invested in the share. The same rings true for others who will have agendas based on their positions.

A good place to start on valuation would be the broker note that gave a target price based on trial outcomes although again they will still have an agenda to some extent.

I will try and find a source for the AIM rules but a remember Sharesting clearly saying on AIM if the buyer is still accumulating they do not have to disclose until they stop.

and still no TR1 to explain where they have ended up the mind boggles, or do PI's have bigger pockets than we thought.

Personally I don't see this as a binary bet anymore, the chance of not getting approval is very slim in my mind.

The degree of efficacy is open for discussion but I feel this will get approved even if efficacy is small.

LP - Out of interest why would you prefer licensing?

I can see that licensing might return more value long term, buyout would be a nice clean realisation of value.

Not where I expected the share price to be given the news this week I have to say however feel very comfortable with this investment now based on what we currently know.
