PI's only have themselves to blame here, personally I think the timing of the Companies RNS statements favoured the PI.

You had the opportunity to sell the rise off the good news and then buy the lows of the placing news.

Old adage buy on rumour sell on news perfectly reflects the situation here.

When the dust settles the share price will kick on as this is a fantastic time for the company.

Lets also put a bit of perspective on timings.

COPD phase 2 trial spanned 2018/2019 before it was paused due to the pandemic.

Covid-19 Trial set to run for 8weeks it is phenomenal what the company has achieved in such a short space of time helped by the timing and ferocity of the pandemic.

Regardless of Covid-19 applications the foot is firmly on the accelerator for emergency use classification.

It will be a massive result all round if this drug is in use this year. Lets be realistic on timings i'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities to hop on and off the train along the way.

Just reading through the RNS for a second time, they started the roadshow with a placing price of 88p interesting that they had to drop this to 80p.

Remember you calling this placing a few weeks ago, you seem pretty clued up on the financials if you where to speculate on the effect of the placing what do you think it will do to the share price?

If I read the RNS correct they are inviting existing share holders to apply for a small amount of shares at 80p if the price holds above a £ that's not a bad return, I doubt PI's will be able to get many mind.

He did just say they where looking to do a large scale roll out with Roche though :( then mentioned other providers too

Are you sure? I think he was referring to Roche and Abbott. The saliva test maybe AVCT?

What convinced you to use Degiro as a broker? From what I've read the reviews for them are terrible.

Probably Lansdowne selling they will have paid a premium to delay the notification.

That's a bit of a silly comment since AVCT's share price is a lot smaller currently than GDR and NCYT. So you would expect larger volume on AVCT.

AVCT had higher volume than AZN today...

Tops and Bottoms are easily achieved retrospectively on charts.

If you've ever franticly tried to buy or sell at a peak you will realise you rarely manage to get the quote.

I think he's trying to caution folks not to get ahead of themselves which is a fair point but you only need to make it once.

Also the background seller is weighing the share price down anyway, once they clear this will probably pop that's when the board will be filled with proper rubbish.

PROP5 - "Why on earth would you sell out of NCYT now???" Flip that around Why on earth would you buy into NYCT now?

I asked myself that question and that's why I dumped my NCYT shares, if it retraces I might pick up a few again but all the news is priced in and some currently.

The beeb article was excellent Panorama episode will add credibility, both will spread the word to Medical Staff, Patients and Investors.

Looking beyond the share price this kind of news will build the momentum required to push this drug to market. After Phase 2 normally a Phase 3 Clinical trial would be conducted on a much larger scale, 1000's not 100's of patients.

I'm not sure how this will play out after Phase 2 trials given the current situation what's for sure is we will want as many potential patients and their Dr's to be aware that this drug exists and can be used and delivered easily to vulnerable patients.

Stocks - I was invested here but no longer so I have no skin in the game. The Roche and Abbot tests are both lab based tests accuracy is good. What ODX will provide is the POC antibody test, this would be a real game changer. POC will bring the volumes to both Antibody and Antigen testing I wouldn't worry to much about Abbot and Roche plenty of room in the market and the Lab market is smaller and more crowded IMO.

Will be interesting to see after hours delayed trades expect them to be huge.

Wpa5 - That's unfortunate it's going to be hard to predict what the surge in news flow the next few days will do to the price. Remember Results are not due until June (end of June if you believe the BBC article), so there might be another point in May that the price drifts.

I watched NCYT rise rather than buying in I researched similar shares in search of value, that's how I found GDR bought in at 26p.

If I was in the same position again i'd be researching stocks to find similar value opportunities, despite the rise I still think that GDR offers the best value at the moment.

£2 could be sooner than expected. pushing knocking at£1.90 now
