CW25 - I expect a TR1 on Wednesday probably after hours showing that Lansdowne arrived at close to 10% holding last Friday 07/05.

I expect delayed trades to appear tonight which will be from trading on 07/05.

If we get no 24 hour delayed trades tomorrow from todays trading this would indicate Lansdowne have paused or stopped.

All IMO opinion of course.

Scoutt - I think it's hard to predict the upside and downside here as there are so many permutations.

COPD only underpins the share price providing a COVID-19 bad trial results does not indicate issues for COPD too.

Since COPD was showing promise I'm confident this de-risks both COPD and the chance of a complete COVID-19 trial failure.

But until the trial news drops its a guessing game.

If this shows promising results for Asthma, COPD and COVID-19, then this probably works as a treatment for a broad range of illnesses that attack the lung function. Try and put a number on that...

What has been clear from the past few weeks is that the share price has been held to allow Lansdowne to exit.

Hopefully they are now done and we can focus on the trial.

Not really speeding up the time taken to detect if someone has the virus is all part of the test track trace.

The quicker you can detect the quicker you can contain, every little helps.

There are several drug trials that are moving away from PCR tests as the first detection protocol so that they can detect quicker and start treatment earlier. They can then double check the positive result if required using PCR but with the added lab delay.

So it looks like a first port of call to use the antigen test to save time and then double check negative results using PCR.

This will make cracking America tougher.

I think this is what they will be using for the at home trials.

Radleystine195 - You are correct when you say the big guns already have tests on the market however GDR's advantage is they are targeting several subsets of this market.

The big boys and NCYT have a PCR test which requires lab infrastructure, GDR's first assay is targeting this market with the advantage it's a freeze dried assay so easily shippable globally. If what I have read is correct it is also ready to go so no other reagents are required to be sourced. Some big pluses there, note that NCYT are trying to develop a dPCR test to reduce the quantity of reagents required for the test.

Where GDR will excel is their portable assay which is also under development. If you can bring the test out of the lab and to the point of care with quick results this will be very lucrative. Think Airports, Military bases/ships, Care Homes. If we can get Genedrive systems into as menu scenarios as possible think of the repeat sales.

There is plenty of room for GDR to flourish despite the big boy already on the scene.

It’s not going to be a cheep treatment but drugs never are.

Crookie - Totally agree it’s curious that they won’t let it blow above 75 or below 55. As you say could be two positions at play.
