yeah this is really the big consideration now with CNIC and Kape....prospect of acquisition in each case is absolutely huge!

fabulous businesses....either standalone or bought out.

I find this one of the most perplexing stocks on the market...it is very intriguing. Name me another business which posts these kind of organic growth rates and throws off this much cash....

Bloody mental...cannot figure it out.

Sad to see what has happened with this...I sold out for personal finance reasons in the early 40s soon after I bought believing it to have a lot of potential. But like many other stocks at the moment out there...its the integrity of management and falsehoods that mean one really has minimal confidence in what your being told.

Disgraceful behavior by the company here and feel sorry for people taken in by it.

I mean the guy is a complete CYNT as many have already said...obviously a really distasteful character.

what you would be mad to do is let him affect your investment decision on a company that now has barely anything to do with him and is performing well.

When one thinks about it...to think almost 20% of the shares have been offloaded in c. 1 month/ 2 months...it is actually incredible the SP is where it is...shows you the demand for the share.

Anyway...he is now down to a few % of business with his wife holding another chunk.

Very encouraged by mornings RNS...highest margin part of the business.

my guess is he transferred the block to his wife rather than sold and then her buying? but happy to stand corrected by others on this....would be interested to hear thoughts.

I'll be honest...wish he'd just sell the lot and we can have another shareholder in. He's not been good for the business...

However...I would guess he hasn't offloaded any...would imagine he has transferred the lot to the wife and we just won't hear for a few weeks yet (may be wrong).

Looks to me like there must be a significant seller in background unfortunately....very very frustrating in the short term.

Can only come to the conclusion there is another large seller in the background at the moment...only explanation for dire price performance.

I just don't understand how we have not had an RNS yet. Had the 3mm buy and then two 1mm sells...been a ton of other trades that kind of size over the last few weeks. Businesses like Centralnic who are over 4x the size of boom are trading a fraction daily...

All very odd.

The Bonnier - Candy court case I see as having absolutely no impact / consequence for BOOM...literally see it as having no relevance

BOOM isn't a hut group...this isn't a business suited to PE or a Nick Candy...value accretion will come with a large media platform, no-one else. PE and single investors can't give this platform what it needed...value here isn't about cutting costs / leveraging up / reducing heacount...its all about top line growth and winning the biggest contracts in terms of top shows. Only a large media platform will be attractive to those shows...

Either it's just been another day of rumourmill pumping...or there is something going on in background.

I would completely agree with everything you just said. These results and loss of Morbid show us all exactly why this business needs to be snapped up by a larger platform. They are not big enough to hold onto people like Morbid...they have a fab platform, brilliant technology and turn a profit. However...scale and reach is no.1 in this space which Spotify etc can provide.
